| Liu Yuxi is a poet with distinct personality in the poetry circle of Tang Dynasty.His ideas of poetry creation not only require the conception of poetry,but also advocate the artistic conception of poetry.The content of his poems covers everything,including the observation of the scenery of mountains and rivers,and the description of the local conditions and customs,which reflects the real social scene and people’s livelihood,and conveys many life philosophies and inner feelings.Liu Yuxi advocated the unity of content and form,that is to say,the language should be concise and profound in poetry creation.Liu Yuxi’s theory of poetry creation more or less had an impact on his literary creation,and also had a certain impact on the literati in the late Tang Dynasty and later generations.There are many researches on Liu Yuxi in China,but the researches on his poetry theory tend to mix his poetry theory with his literary thought.This paper aims to explore the concrete connotation of Liu Yuxi’s poetry creation theory by analyzing his poetic thoughts.Liu Yuxi believes that the spiritual world of emptiness and quietness is the premise of creation.When the poet enters a state of emptiness and quietness,he will step into the conception stage of poetry writing wholeheartedly.Liu Yuxi affirmed the feasibility of imagination in poetry creation and believed that literary creation could be accomplished through imagination.In addition,he also has a unique view on the word "artistic conception",which includes two aspects: "realm" and "object".Liu Yuxi said in the collection of the Dongs Wuling that "realm comes from outside the object","realm" is understood by him as the internal theme of the work,"object" is understood by him as the external things described in the work itself,that is to say,"realm" represents a deeper part in the poem Fen is the thought charm behind the surface words.He advocated that poetry should contain deeper meaning beyond the surface things described in poetry,and emphasized that poetry should have profound artistic conception.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the full text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter describes the causes of Liu Yuxi’s theory of poetry creation,that is,discusses what factors affect Liu Yuxi’s poetry creation thought.First of all,Liu Yuxi’s personal life experience must have a certain impact on his literary path;secondly,Liu Yuxi’s poetic thought is closely related to his philosophical thought;finally,Liu Yuxi read a lot of literary works from pre Qin to Mid Tang Dynasty in his youth,including pre Qin Confucian thought,Han Buddhism thought,Wei Jin literary theory,Dali poetic style and prosperous Tang thought Liu Yuxi was influenced by the degree.The second chapter discusses the content characteristics of Liu Yuxi’s poetry creation theory in detail.This paper mainly analyzes Liu Yuxi’s views on the conception,artistic conception,style and innovation of poetry,such as "empty but thousands of scenes enter,and there must be some leakage when entering","words can express a hundred ideas,sitting and galloping can serve thousands of scenes","the environment is born out of the image,so it is refined but lack of harmony","listening and singing and turning over yangliuzhi".The third chapter specifically explores the relationship between Liu Yuxi’s poetry creation theory and his poetry works,that is,the poetry theory reflected in Liu Yuxi’s poetry.There are many themes in Liu Yuxi’s poems,which can be divided into historical poems,folk poems,outing poems,object poems,political allegorical poems and so on.To a certain extent,his poetry theory affects his poetry creation.The works created by people in the state of "emptiness" and " no-thingness" are usually non utilitarian,natural and fresh.Liu Yuxi’s poems belong to the elegant style,especially some poems for friends and outings.In addition,Liu Yuxi advocated that poetry should have meaning,so he often used Metaphor tactics to create a far-reaching artistic conception beyond the appearance.His political allegorical poems and historical poems are full of philosophical meaning.The fourth chapter studies the acceptance of Liu Yuxi’s theory of poetry creation.First of all,it analyzes the influence of Liu Yuxi’s poetry creation theory on the poets in the late Tang Dynasty,such as Sikong Tu,Du Mu,Li Shangyin and Wen tingyun.Secondly,it analyzes the influence of Liu Yuxi’s poetry creation theory on the poets of Song Dynasty,such as Ouyang Xiu,Wang Anshi and Jiangxi poetry school.Finally,it analyzes the influence of Liu Yuxi’s poetry creation theory on the poets of yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties,such as Yuan Haowen,Yang Shen Wang Shizhen and Yexie. |
