Curriculum management is an important part of curriculum theory.Secondary vocational education is the foundation of modern vocational education system.Under the situation of continuous and rapid development of vocational education in China,the research demand for curriculum management is more and more urgent.The practical experience of curriculum management in national demonstrative secondary vocational school is relatively rich,but it lacks the guidance of theory,and the management method needs to be improved.On the basis of fully combing the literature and summarizing the previous research results,we selected the business English teachers of Qingyuan H Secondary Vocational and Technical School(hereinafter referred to as "H school")as the actual research object,carried out research from the "decision-making,planning,implementation,evaluation" of the curriculum.A questionnaire survey was conducted among business English teachers and the results were analyzed by SPSS software.This paper makes an in-depth interview with the person in charge of teaching management and teachers’ representatives of H school,and analyzes the basic research data such as relevant management system documents of the school.The results show that the business English major in H school has the typical characteristics of bureaucratic management,which have standardized management system and efficient organization and operation,and has gained the successful experience of "curriculum management-oriented" major construction.The students have excellent performance in certificate examination and competition,and the graduates’ employment rate is high.However,in recent years,due to the change of the external employment and the decrease of the students,the specialty has been shrinking year by year,and within the professional teaching and research group,the serious vacancy phenomenon of the teachers in the form of maternity leave has emerged,which highlights many problems in the curriculum management.In order to break through the bottleneck,it is suggested that H school should reshape the management mechanism,improve the teachers’ working efficiency by optimizing the teachers’ structure and building a learning organization,and adjust the curriculum and teaching contents in the light of the 1 + X certificate system and the needs of society We should actively develop new school-enterprise cooperative enterprises and cultivate order-oriented talents,and ensure the quality of talents cultivation by using effective teaching methods and evaluation models. |
