| In Jacques Rancière’s theory, artistic works are involved in the distribution and redistribution of the sensible, thus forming an autonomous community of sense.Aesthetics, art and politics are all forms of the community of sense. The subject of perception suspends the intention and obtains pure aesthetic experience. The object of its perception is the free people and their lives.Under the aesthetic regime of the arts, the community of sense includes many aspects. It is not only the embodiment of artistic autonomy, but also has negative and positive political complexion and ethical potential.Equal distribution of the sensible 、 the democracy of collage and shared perception space are the principles of the community of sense. In the community of sense, the distribution of the sensible forms and maintains the autonomy of art by reconfiguring the visible and sensible perceptual order. The new division of time and space triggers the “ dissensus ” of the audience, thus breaking the limitation of the representative regime of the arts. With this approach,a community of sense with both autonomy and heteronomy can be formed. And the continuous emergence of heterogeneous factors、the renewal of people ’ s ways of perception and diverse demands of freedom make the community of sense constantly renewing itself. The community of sense has multiple functions and meanings, among which the suspension of meaning、the cancellation of boundary and the acceptance of heterogeneous factors subvert the representative regime of the arts. The community of sense has the function of social criticism by showing the absurdity of the society, presenting the truth of the society and constructing an autonomous art world. The distribution of the sensible releases the potentiality of democracy and liberates people’s sensibility, and finally creates an equal community of sense. |
