The Study Of Ranciere's Film Theory

Jacques Ranciere,an influential theorist in the field of aesthetic,whose research involves literature,philosophy,painting,art and other aspects.As the representative of French left-wing ideology,Ranciere's political theories and asthetics are systematically pondered on the basis of sensible reality." Distribution of the Sensible " is the theoretical core of Ranciere 's aesthetics theory.The redistribution of sensible can break the hierarchical distribution and social order,and create an aesthetic community composed of new participants.Ranciere introduced his theory of political aesthetics into the field of film.In his opinion,the art of film can separate normal sentences from images,undermine social hierarchies and the so-called "right" way of seeing,speaking and acting.In this way,the sensible distribution order is reorganized to provide a platform for the connection between politics and aesthetics.Jacques Ranciere endowed the image with a politicized form and function,extending the inner aesthetic order and logic of the motion image to the overall thiinking of film politics.Through the study of the issues of film language,film narrative,and film acceptance,the theoretical sequence from image generation to image operation has been carried out,and these have formed a unique political aesthetics.From the perspective of the film,the study of Ranciere's political aesthetics is a new perspective and new strategy and it has important theoretical value and practical value.However,due to the lack of relevant translations in the past,there is a lack of focus on and in-depth study of Ranciere's film theory.In response to this problem,this article is based on the research of Ranciere works translated into China in recent years,and through the interdisciplinary research method,film reading analysis method and other research methods,deep into the Jacques Ranciere' film aesthetics theory.Based on the overall grasp of the Ranciere's ideological system,the contemporary aesthetic vision as the center,to explore the characteristics of the mutual integration and infiltration of the political aesthetics within the film,thus completing the shaping of the political aesthetics of the Ranciere's aesthetic theory.Based on the above research ideas and methods,this paper carries out a research on Ranciere's film theory.First of all,Jacques Ranciere was influenced by Althusser 's scientific socialism,Foucault 's theory of intellectual power,and Kant,Arendt and other theories,forming a political aesthetic theory with "sensible distribution" as the core.This is also an important connection point between the problem of Ranciere 's film and his political aesthetics.Secondly,Ranciere used the language of sentence-image and montage as the destructive force of film form to break the traditional order of sensible distribution.In addition,based on the inherent paradox of movement-images,Ranciere rearranged the sensible elements within the images,which highlight the contradiction and conflict between the image representation and expression.And he reveals the emancipatory connotation behind the hegemony of the "movement" discourse.Finally,we can grasp the political nature of Jacques Ranciere's film aesthetics from the perspective of acceptance.The audience participates in the construction of social practice and artistic discourse through images,so they can break the bondage of passive viewing-This behavior can change the subject's cognition of his own position,thus providing the possibility for the political behavior of "changing the world".Ranciere 's film theory embodies the logic and characteristics of political aesthetics,which provides a powerful guide for art to intervene in public life.We must pay attention to the problematic,subversive and vitality embodied in the Jacques Ranciere's theory,which has great significance for the future development direction of film aesthetics and political research,and even visual culture research.
