The Annotation of Classics(《经典释文》)is a masterpiece compiled by Lu Deming, which is a collection of fourteen classic scriptures in the Pre-Qin Dynasty.Among them,Lu Deming not only examined the pronunciation and meaning, but also learned from the pronunciation and exegesis of the six dynasties, and the recording was very comprehensive. Therefore,The Annotation of Classics is also an important work of great value for the study of philology and phonology.Zhuangzi Yinyi(《庄子音义》)is an important part of The Annotation of Classics,Which contains the phonetic notation materials of Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern Dynasties to the beginning of the Tang Dynasty.Especially the phonetic materials retained in it,are of great significance to discovery the causes and the study of the rules and regulations of phonetic development. In Zhuangzi Yinyi, there are a total of 700 materials with two or more readings of a word, including 449 different pronunciations of Lu Deming, and 251 different pronunciations of Yinyin people in the Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties. The phonetic notation in Zhuangzi Yinyi can be divided into four categories: the standard sound shouyin approved by Lu Deming;the non-standard sound youyin marked by Lu Deming;the yin of Jin Dynasty and Southern and Northern dynasties quoted by Lu Deming;Lu Deming was "showing rumor and experience" the huoyin and yiyin quoted by Lu Deming for showing rumor and experience. Those are mainly marked with the four terms "yin","fanqie","ruzi" and "du".Lu Deming’s different pronunciation of Zhuangzi Yinyi mainly manifests as:different pronunciation of light and heavy lips;different pronunciation of clear and voiced;different pronunciation of tongue;dui zhuan;pang zhuan;ping sheng yin yang yi du;quan zhuo shang sheng changes to qu sheng; The phonetic phenomena reflected by the different pronunciations of the quotient in Zhuangzi Yinyi are: light and heavy lip pronunciation;Variant pronunciation of tongue and throat sounds;Variant pronunciation of chiyin and houyin;Variant pronunciation of yayin and houyin;Variant pronunciation of qing and zhuo;Variant pronunciation of jiehui rhyme;Variant pronunciation of zhenzhun rhyme;Variant pronunciation of hunwen rhyme;Variant pronunciation of tanggen rhyme;Variant pronunciation of jiehui rhyme;Variant pronunciation of yantan, yanxian and tianxian;Variant pronunciation of tanxian;Variant pronunciation of tanxian;Variant pronunciation of xiaoyao;Variant pronunciation of Zhizhi;Variant pronunciation of sisheng.Comparing Lu Deming’s different pronunciations in Zhuangzi Yinyi with the Jin Dynasty and Southern and Northern dynasties,we found the following characteristics:In terms of voice category, the clear and voiced variant pronunciation is the most prominent phenomenon, and Lu Deming’s clear and voiced variant pronunciation is higher than the Yinyin phonetic notation;the number of tongue and tongue variants in the Yinyin phonetic notation is less.In Lu Deming’s phonetic notation, the proportion of tongue-to-tongue variants is higher than that of Yinyin phonetic notation, but they are similar, which may reflect the greater difference between the two types of initials. There are more tongue and throat sounds in the phonetic notation of Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties than Lu Deming, which may be related to the pronunciation of Yimu(Yu Si).Although Lu Deming’s phonetic notes have more variant pronunciations in the Jingzhuang group than those of the Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties, they still account for a relatively small proportion of the whole. The Jing group is clearly distinguished from the Zhuang group. In terms of rhymes: Lu Deming’s phonetic notation and Yinyin phonetic notation of the Jin Dynasty and Southern and Northern dynasties both have different pronunciations of third-level rhymes and first, second, and fourth-rate rhymes, but the different pronunciations of Lu’s are more average, and the different pronunciations of Yinyin phonetic notation are mainly Reflected between the third-class rhyme and the first-class rhyme. In terms of tones: Lu Deming’s different pronunciations of tones reflect historical sound changes to a certain extent, and the four tones of Yin Ren Yinzhu are mostly influenced by dialects.
