Textbooks are an indispensable and important part of teaching.Good textbooks are the first page to ensure the effectiveness of teaching.Chinese language education has accumulated rich experience in the construction of teaching material,and the old school textbooks have cultivated generations of scholars.Chinese textbooks from Korea,Japan,and Ryukyu are now classic research documents.There are many prose and verses textbooks.They have many advantages to using poems as teaching materials.Tang Poetry and Song Ci are the fine works of classical literature.The language is beautiful and concise,and it pays attention to flatness,rhyme,neat contrast,fixed number of sentences,strong sense of rhythm,easy to read and remember.Classical poems have profound cultural connotations,integrating Chinese literature,geography,history,customs and so on.The author believes that ancient poems have the dual advantages of short and concise language and rich cultural connotation,which can solve the problem of complicated and disorderly compilation of foreign Chinese cultural textbooks,but they have not received the attention of foreign Chinese cultural textbook editors and developers,and they are in the marginal area.In view of this,The the takes Recite Ancient Poems and Learn Chinese,Fun With Ancient Chinese Poems in Multimedia as the research objects,We make an in-depth analysis on the arrangement style and the content design(including annotation,interpretation,new words,poetry appreciations and practices).On this basis,it summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the textbook,absorb the experience of other ancient poetry textbooks and made an attempt to provide some references for ancient poetry teaching materials,which has certain practical significance for improving the teaching materials of ancient Chinese poetry for foreigners.The analysis shows that the two textbooks of ancient Chinese poetry for foreigners are complete in style,with strong interest and pertinence.At the same time,the poems highlight the characteristics and the content is full.The interpretation of new words effectively helps learners understand the content of the poems.However,for the translations that occupy a large amount of space in the text,the accuracy of translation still needs to strengthen between Chinese and English,and the effectiveness of exercise design still needs to be further adjusted.In view of these problems,this paper also tries to put forward some suggestions for reference.In addition,the analysis of these two textbooks also reveals that when compiling ancient poetry textbooks,we should pay attention to the applicable objects of the textbook,the selection of ancient poetry and the setting of poetry rhythm and other cultural content.
