With the increasingly close contact between China and other countries in the world,the number of foreign-related cases is also increasing year by year.Due to the differences in language and culture,interpreters have begun to participate in the interrogation of some cases,which not only helps the judicial activities develop smoothly,but also shows the fairness and justice of China’s judicial system.This report is a study of the consecutive interpreting practice for an interrogation interpreting of Guilin Intermediate People’s Court.It includes four parts: task introduction,task process,case analysis and conclusion.Case analysis is the core of this essay.In the first part,the author introduces the content,features and requirements of this task;in the second part,the author mainly introduces the pre-interpreting preparation;in the third part,the author analyzes the problems and strategies in the process of the interpreting.Through the analysis of the cases,the author found that she had some problems in the practice,such as inaccurate use of personal pronouns,missing of information,misinterpreting and disfluency.At the end of this paper,the author summarizes her experience of this interpreting practice and suggestions for further study and practice.The author hopes that this paper can provide some references for other interpreters in the practice of interrogation interpreting.
