Study On War Poems In Wei And Jin Dynasties

The Wei and Jin Dynasties were a period of “human awakening” and “literary consciousness”.And poetry was one of the most representative literary genres in the Wei and Jin Dynasties.As an important part of poetry in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,war poetry is one of the manifestation of “human awakening” and “literary consciousness” in this period,and it is also a reflection of the political,cultural and social life in this specific period.This thesis takes the war poetry in the Wei and Jin Dynasties as the research object,combines with the social and historical background at that time,and uses the method of text close readingand comparative research to explore the characteristics of war poetry in this period.The full thesis is mainly divided into two parts: introduction and text.The introduction mainly explains the background and significance of the topic selection of the thesis,clarifies the classic status and research significance of the Wei and Jin war poems;in addition,it also solves two main problems: the meaning and scope of the war poems studied in this article,and the related research reviews of predecessors.The body part is divided into three chapters:The first chapter mainly discusses the background and its overview of the creation of war poems in Wei and Jin Dynasties.The first section explores the objective background of frequent wars and social unrest;the second section explores the promotion of the development of war poems by “human awakening” and “literary consciousness” under the ideological and cultural background of the decline of Confucianism and the rise and development of Buddhism and Taoism;the third section is a supplementary explanation of “human awakening” and “literary consciousness”,which explores the role of the ruling class’ s attention and advocacy in promoting the creation of war poems;the fourth section is about the overview of war poems created by poets in Wei and Jin Dynasties.The second chapter mainly discusses the thoughts and feelings in the war poems of the Wei and Jin Dynasties.The first section mainly discusses the heroes and the feelings of building meritorious service under the worship of heroes;the second section explores the feelings of the literati for social stability and building meritorious service;the third section explores the feelings of compassion for life in the war poems,which are mainly reflected in the three aspects of compassion for the common people,the recruits and the wife;the fourth section explores the feelings of war chanting in the war poems.Pay attention to the similarities and differences of different works in the same kind of thoughts and feelings and related reasons.The third chapter mainly discusses the artistic characteristics of the Wei-Jin war poems.The language characteristics,sad lyric themes and rich historical imagination jointly construct the outstanding artistic characteristics of the Wei-Jin war poems.The language characteristics are generally the same as the development trend of literature from quality to literature in the Wei-Jin period.The sad theme in lyric is caused by frequent wars in the whole period and social disruption.Rich historical imagination is related to the political and social environment at that time.
