In 2020,the sudden outbreak of COVID-19(COVID-19)has changed people’s living habits.Tourism consumption behavior has changed significantly after the epidemic,and the natural tourism resources with few people have attracted much attention of tourism consumers.It is a meaningful thing to explore the aesthetic thoughts contained in the Buddhist cultural heritage and the way to cultivate the body and mind,and to learn and inherit such cultural connotations through travel.However,due to the lack of understanding of the historical and cultural connotation of Buddhism for a long time,the development of Buddhist tourism and cultural products is in a very primitive stage,and there are many problems to be improved.There are mainly the following points: First,product development and design lack of collaborative work of expert team,unable to effectively integrate cultural tourism resources to develop Buddhist cultural tourism products to meet the needs of modern tourists.The development of Buddhist culture-themed tourism products needs the cooperation of the Buddhist circle,the academic circle and the industry.Independent development is likely to lead to the imbalance in the use of resources,because the technical industry is specialized,and the blind spot in product development and design can be avoided by listening to and absorbing the advice of experts and scholars in different fields.Second,the lack of creativity and the inability to effectively present the characteristics of Buddhist culture are all due to the lack of collaborative work of expert teams at the source,which makes the vast cultural and tourism resources unable to be effectively developed and utilized.Third,product homogenization is serious,no innovation attraction.When developing a new product,originality is its biggest highlight.The homogenization of tourism products is related to the crowd mentality of hot trends,but the deep-seated reason is the result of the lack of historical and cultural connotations.Therefore,it is necessary to avoid blindly following the trend when developing Buddhist cult-themed tourism products and highlighting Buddhist cultural characteristics.Fourthly,one-sided pursuit of short-term economic interests,equating the vulgar superstition to buddhist tourism culture resources,this approach not only in violation of state regulations,is the Buddhism culture stigmatized,also cause tourists to the scenic spot tourism product produce distrust,this way of eggs on the depth of the Buddhism cultural tourism resources development is undoubtedly a great deal of damage,These vulgar superstition items are definitely not the same as the Buddhist culture themed tourism products.Fourth,the products developed and designed cannot reflect regional characteristics or even cultural heritage.Buddhist culture is extensive and profound,and different cultural schools of different styles have been formed due to different regions and inheritances,which are reflected in architecture,sculpture,gardens and other hardware facilities,as well as internal inheritances such as schools of thought and religious practices.Without cultural products,there is no vitality,so the aim of this study is through the scientific research method,collects and buddhist culture authoritative expert group opinion,provide theoretical basis for related tourism product development,on the basis of the mining development of buddhist culture tourism products,to keep pace with The Times,to be more perfect,enrich,to meet the needs of different consumer groups.In view of the above problems,this paper tries to develop the evaluation index of Buddhist cultural tourism products to solve these problems.First,in accordance with strict standards and procedures,a team of 30 Buddhist experts,tourism experts and senior Buddhist tourism lovers from mainland and Taiwan were invited to form an expert team.Through three rounds of Delphi brainstorming research and statistical analysis,19 specific Buddhist cult-themed tourism evaluation indicators(attributes)were obtained.Secondly,through the analytic hierarchy process(AHP),questionnaire survey and statistical analysis results,the 19 evaluation indicators are given weight,and the final development of the "Buddhist cultural tourism evaluation index",the construction of the index is applicable to the existing Buddhist culture-theme tourism scenic area evaluation,but also applicable to the development of related scenic area planning.Thirdly,based on the developed indicators,the index system is verified in practice through the evaluation of the index development of Buddhist tourism products in Mount Emei,Sichuan,with a view to applying it to the research and development of Buddhist cultural tourism products in more regions in the future.
