With the title of "Feasibility Study of Chinese Traditional Food in Contemporary Art",this article establishes the feasibility and unique significance of the application of Chinese traditional food in sculpture art through the analysis of the unique attributes of Chinese traditional food and the support of the artist’s work.Finally,it demonstrates based on the background and meaning of the creation of Chinese traditional food sculpture art works.This research is based on the collision between artistic creation and traditional Chinese food,combined with the main methods(observation method,literature research method,case study method,etc.)of the sculpture professional research topic,the full text will be based on the characteristics of traditional Chinese food,and the analysis of domestic Food-based sculptures,installation works,analysis of foreign food-based sculptures,installation works,the feasibility and uniqueness of the combination of traditional Chinese food and contemporary art,and an analysis of my experience in creating creation with traditional food.In the end,it is concluded that the combination of traditional Chinese food and contemporary art is feasible and possesses the inherent geographical and national cultural attributes of traditional food,as well as the extinction of food.The article ends with my thoughts through my exploration process of using traditional food for artistic creation,confirming the feasibility of combining traditional Chinese food with artistic creation.
