A Study Of The Interaction Of Sándor Márai’s Work

This paper draws on interaction theory in sociology to interpret Sándor Márai’s work in the context of interdisciplinary studies in comparative literature.The research material is based on the latest translations of Sándor Márai’s individual works as well as the untranslated English versions of his works,and the interactions are explored in three parts.The clear interactions between the author himself and the characters in the book are analyzed in the context of a close reading of the text,thereby revealing the profound connotations and aesthetic values explored in the work.The first part starts with the cities described by the author,and Márai repeatedly mentions other cities related to his travels,such as Budapest,in his own work,to get a glimpse of the dramatic changes in the author’s mind and surroundings from his personal experiences.The interaction between him and the cities he writes about is also felt.The second part examines the interaction of gender relations.Gender interaction and gender relations in his works are the parts of Márai’s works that he concentrates on.Here we use the ritual chain of interaction,sexual drive,and sexual morality to explain the relationship between the sexes in his works,how the relationship between husband and wife and lovers actually "operates",and how both parties achieve an emotional satisfaction through interaction.The third part of the work illustrates the interaction between the individual and the group.The concept of class stratification and the level of encounter in the interaction ritual is precisely related to class interaction.The individual,floating and sinking in the warring times of the time,is itself a silent confrontation with the disorderly times,stripped of the identity and property of the flesh itself,and the human being is almost "naked" to each other.To conclude,Sándor Márai’s life in his writing is his last voice and cry for an era,and the profound values that emerge from it.From the depiction of cities to the exploration of gender relations to the failed interaction between groups and individuals,Márai’s works show the landscape of the times.At the same time,with the support of interaction theory,we analyze the content of the works,present the characters’ relationships,and explore the choices of individuals in the changing times,guiding us to make the right choices and create a better life in the changing times.
