“The Belt and Road”initiative was put forward in 2013,and China’s cultural trade has been developing rapidly in the areas along “the Belt and Road”,which undoubtedly provides a new historical opportunity for China’s film and television industry to develop international markets and expand trade.This paper,based on Althcide’s communication ecology theory,carries out the research on the international communication ecology of China’s film and television under the background of “The Belt and Road”initiative.Althcide pointed out the communication ecology is communication process in context.The three dimensions are information technology,communication paradigm and social behavior.Therefore,this paper analyzes the international communication of China’s film and television under the background of “The Belt and Road” based on the three dimensions.In the information technology dimension,this paper mainly analyzes the influence of information technology on international communication of film and television.The dimension of communication paradigm,based on Althcide’s book,analyzes the origin of paradigm,the accessibility of media,the quality of content of video,audience interest and the selection of film and television themes.On the social behavior dimension,the paper analyzes the contradiction between the international communication of Chinese film and television under the background of“The Belt and Road” in the 5 dimensions of communication paradigm.Finally,proposes some measures to improve China’s international communication ecology.In the analysis of information technology dimension,the paper mainly analyzes the influence of information technology on the creation mode,scope,mode and effect of film and television communication.In the analysis of the communication paradigm,the paper analyzes the government led international film and television cooperation and the promotion of film and television activities under the background of “The Belt and Road”.The guidance of home,audience interest analysis of the cultural background and audience cultural market classification of countries along the line,theme packaging analysis of international communication themes of Chinese film and television works and the classification of communication themes in countries along the line.Concerning the contradiction of the international communication of China’s films and television,there are contradictions between the weak participation of the state and the incomplete policy system from the policy point of view;there are contradictions in the channels of information technology and channel,such as inadequate communication channels and insufficient promotion strategies;the quality of films and television shows the lack of resonance and lack of ideological content;There are contradictions between cultural discount and translation barriers;there are contradictions between the lack of horizontal theme expansion and single theme selection in the view of film and television content.Finally,this paper put forward some measures to improve the international communication ecology of Chinese film and television.The top-level design should be implemented from the policy perspective,and the cooperation scope with countries along the line and the policy system should be improved;the channel should be innovated from the perspective of channels,and the ways of innovation and promotion strategies should be adopted;the quality of film and television should be improved from the perspective of film and television quality,and the way of promoting excellent communication and establishing evaluation channel should be promoted;the cross-cultural communication of film and television should be reduced Low cultural discount,through seeking common culture and innovative translation thinking,in the perspective of content creation of film and television,we should cultivate content creation,through universal content creation and multiple theme creation.
