In recent years, with the increasingly fierce social competition, fire rescue workers are faced with various challenges and pressures.Every year, there are many reports on fire fighting and rescue work on the Internet or TV,and it is not difficult to see that the nature of fire fighting work is dangerous, complex and difficult from this series of reports.Due to fire rescue workers prolonged stress environment, such as:the professional training of daily life, the relatively closed environment, the strict examination or face the toxic and harmful substances in the process of rescue, mutilated corpses, etc.,these are all lead to psychological stress events, fire rescue personnel if failed to deal with fire rescue personnel psychological stress, which will lead to serious problems in the process of helping others in the future.Based on the multi-factor theoretical model of stress,it is found that both external environment and personality traits have a certain influence on individual’s psychological stress, and interdependent self-construct,an important personality trait,is closely related to psychological stress.Interdependent self-construct reflects that when individuals understand themselves, they emphasize the relationship between their social relations and others, and think that the self is embodied in the relationship with others. However, for Chinese fire rescue workers, they pay attention to their interpersonal relationship, social role, sense of achievement, etc.,and their interdependent self-construct is more inclined to collectivism culture,so the interdependent self-group is dominant in China. This research adopts the empathy fatigue scale, soldiers psychological stress self-report questionnaire, perceived organizational support scale, self construct scale of shenyang, anshan, panjin area 931 fire rescue personnel to carry on the investigation and study, under the background of Chinese collectivism culture, interdependent self influence on fire rescue personnel psychological stress, and perceived organizational support and empathy fatigue play a role, the specific conclusions are as follows:(1)There was a negative correlation between interdependent self and psychological stress,a negative correlation between interdependent self and empathic fatigue, and a positive correlation between empathic fatigue and psychological stress.(2)Empathic fatigue played a complete mediating role between interdependent self and psychological stress.(3)Organizational support modulated the first half of the mediation model(interdependent self→empathic fatigue),specifically. With the increase of perceived organizational support, the impact of empathic fatigue on fire rescuers with low self-interdependence will gradually decrease.Studies have shown that mutual self-dependence can affect the psychological stress of fire rescue workers through empathic fatigue, which means that fire rescue workers with high or low mutual self-dependence will have an impact on the psychological stress, and this influence will lead to the mental health problems of fire rescue workers. In addition, the sense of organizational support also plays an important role in the work of fire rescue workers.Studies have shown that feeling of organizational support can effectively alleviate the generation of empathic fatigue.
