A Comparative Study Of The Construction "Bushi(不是)X(,)Jiushi(就是)Y" And "Chule(除了)X(,)Jiushi(就是)Y"

The theory of construction grammar is in the ascendant from the 1980 s to the present,which provides an appropriate way to study some difficult phenomena in language.Among them,it is also a hot issue to compare two similar constructions by using the theory of construction grammar.The construction "bushi X(,)jiushi Y" and "chule X(,)jiushi Y" are similar in the form of expression.Some learners who think of Chinese as a second language often mix the two constructions as the same format,which has drawn our attention.At present,the comparative analysis between the two constructions is seldom to be seen.In view of this,it is necessary to investigate and describe the two constructions and make a comparative analysis between them.This paper is consisted of five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which first points out the reasons for the topic selection and the meaning of the research,then expounds the related research status of the article theme selected.And next,it briefly introduces the source of the corpus and the theories and methods used in this paper.Finally,it makes a general overview of the main content of the article,and expounds the expectation of the article.The second chapter mainly contain studies of the construction "bushi X(,)jiushi Y" from various perspectives,including the identification of construction,component analysis,syntactic features,semantic analysis and pragmatic features,so as to deeply understand the application conditions of the construction in daily life.In the third chapter,we adopts the same method to study the construction "chule X(,)jiushi Y" from multiple perspectives,respectively from the identification of construction,component analysis,syntactic features,semantic analysis and grammatical features,in order to deeply understand the use environment of the construction in daily life.In the fourth chapter,according to the relevant conclusions obtained in the previous chapters,we compare and summarize the construction "bushi X(,)jiushi Y" and "chule X(,)jiushi Y",by using the method of substitution,this paper discusses the conditions of their substitution,hoping to be beneficial to the standardization of language use,and even more helpful to the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language to a certain extent.aThe fifth chapter is the conclusion,which combs and summarizes the research results of this paper,and points out the problems and shortcomings of this paper.
