| Online self-disclosure is a kind of network behavior that individuals use various ways to transmit information to others in the network environment,so as to maintain network communication or meet personal needs.With the increasing popularity of social networks and the improvement of commercial maturity,social networks are gradually used in the field of work.This study focuses on the work-related online self-disclosure,selects people with the same occupation as the subjects,adopts the method of questionnaire and situational experiment,through three studies(including four sub studies),to explore the influence of work-related online self-disclosure on interpersonal attraction.In study 1(N=201),a three factor intersubject design was used to reveal the different effects of work-related online self-disclosure and daily content on interpersonal attraction.The results show that: the interpersonal attraction brought by the work-related online self-disclosure is significantly lower than that brought by the online self-disclosure of daily content;for the online self-disclosure of daily topics,the interpersonal attraction under the low depth condition is extremely significantly lower than that under the high depth condition.Based on the results of study 1,study 2(N=201)limited the theme of online self-disclosure to the work theme,and introduced the moderating variable of professional identity.Using a three factor inter subject experimental design,this study explored the moderating role of professional identity in the influence of work-related online self-disclosure on interpersonal attraction.The results show that: under the condition of low professional identity,the interpersonal attraction score of work-related online self-disclosure under low depth condition is significantly lower than that under high depth condition,while under the condition of high professional identity,the interpersonal attraction score under low depth and high depth condition is not significantly different.On the basis of study 2,study 3 introduced the moderating variable of familiarity,and further explored the moderating role of professional identity and familiarity in the influence of work-related online self-disclosure on interpersonal attraction.The study 3a explored the moderating role of professional identity and familiarity in the influence of breadth of work-related online self-disclosure on interpersonal attraction.Study 3b only explored the moderating role of professional identity and familiarity in the influence of depth of work-related online self-disclosure on interpersonal attraction.The results of study 3a(N=60)show that although the interpersonal attraction of low familiarity condition is significantly lower than that of high familiarity condition,the moderating role of familiarity in the influence of breadth of work-related online self-disclosure on interpersonal attraction is not significant.The results of study 3b(N=60)show that: the score of interpersonal attraction in low familiarity is significantly lower than that in high familiarity;in low depth,the score of interpersonal attraction in low familiarity is significantly lower than that in high familiarity;in high depth,the score of interpersonal attraction in low professional identity is significantly lower than that in high familiarity,The interpersonal attraction scores of low professional identity individuals in the case of low familiarity are significantly lower than those in the case of high familiarity;the interpersonal attraction scores of high professional identity individuals in the case of low familiarity are extremely significantly lower than those in the case of high familiarity.To sum up,this study reveals the influence of work-related online self-disclosure on interpersonal attraction,and further verifies the moderating role of professional identity and familiarity between work-related online self-disclosure and interpersonal attraction.The results of this study show that work-related online self-disclosure will have an impact on interpersonal attraction,and will be affected by professional identity and familiarity. |
