With the rapid development of the Internet and popularization,a growing nunber of people use social networking sites to show themselves to friends,relatives and even strangers,to share their feelings and ideas in life,work and study.In the communication and interaction with others,individuals establish connections with others and develop harmonious interpersonal relationships.This promotes individual’s mental adaptation,still reduce the negative effect of bad mood.In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted to explore the relationship between online self-disclosure and loneliness among college students,taking online self-disclosure as the independent variable,loneliness as the dependent variable,and online social support and online interpersonal trust as the mediating variables.This study includes three main contents: First,the basic situation of college students’ use of social networking sites;Secondly,the relationship between online self-disclosure and loneliness;Thirdly,the mediating effect of online social support and online interpersonal trust on online self-disclosure and loneliness.The research results mainly include the following aspects:(1)There is a significant gender difference in self-disclosure on social networking sites of college students,with males significantly higher than females.The loneliness level of college students is different in gender,males are higher than females.There was no significant difference in the scores of males and females in social support and interpersonal trust.There were no significant grade differences in online self-disclosure,online social support,online interpersonal trust and loneliness among college students.(2)Through the correlation analysis of network self-disclosure,network social support,network interpersonal trust and loneliness,it is found that network self-disclosure has significant positive correlation with network social support and network interpersonal trust.There is a significant negative correlation between online self-disclosure and loneliness.There is a significant positive correlation between network social support and network interpersonal trust.There is a significant negative correlation between social support and loneliness.There is a significant negative correlation between online interpersonal trust and loneliness.(3)Online social support plays a mediation role between online self-disclosure and loneliness of college students,that is,online self-disclosure can indirectly affect the loneliness of college students through online social support.(4)Online interpersonal trust plays an intermediary role in college students’ online self-disclosure and loneliness,that is,online self-disclosure can indirectly affect college students’ loneliness through online interpersonal trust.(5)Online social support and online interpersonal trust plays a sequential mediating role in online self-disclosure and loneliness,that is,online self-disclosure can affect the loneliness of college students through online social support and online interpersonal trust.
