| With the increasing popularity of learning Chinese in the world,more and more Chinese teacher volunteers are sent to teach.Every year,a large number of Chinese teacher volunteers return home to re-employment.However,the employment of returning Chinese teacher volunteers is rarely concerned.The results show that primary and secondary education,Chinese as a foreign language education,educational institutions,public examinations,colleges and universities are the main employment trends of returned Chinese teachers volunteers.In addition,returning Chinese teacher volunteers also face some problems in employment.National level: lack of policy support;lack of publicity for Chinese teacher volunteer program.Social level: on the one hand,the whole social environment is not high recognition of Chinese international education;on the other hand,many employers lack understanding of Chinese teacher volunteer project,lack of recognition of Chinese teacher volunteer status.Training unit level: professional training goal is too single;professional curriculum needs to be adjusted;lack of targeted employment guidance.Volunteer personal level: lack of personal career planning;comprehensive quality needs to be improved;overall employment counterpart rate is low.In view of these problems,the state can strengthen the propaganda of the Chinese teacher volunteer project,formulate the relevant employment preferential policies for the returned Chinese teacher volunteers,and appropriately increase the allowance treatment of the Chinese teacher volunteers and relieve their employment pressure after returning to China.The society should give Chinese teacher volunteers higher attention and recognition;training units should optimize training objectives,adjust professional curriculum and arrangements,continue to pay attention to the volunteers sent,strengthen their employment guidance after returning to China;Volunteers should do a good job planning;strive to improve personal comprehensive quality,enhance personal employment competitiveness. |
