As a Chinese annotated edition of <New Stories Told While Trimming Wick>,<Sentence Explanation of New Stories Told While Trimming Wick>,it was popular in the Korea Dynasty and played an important role in the second language teaching of Chinese in Korea.In this paper,by consulting relevant literature and starting from the five aspects of phonetics,vocabulary,grammar,pragmatics and cultural communication,the author made a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative analysis on the annotation of<Sentence Explanation of New Stories Told While Trimming Wick>.Based on the quantitative data and the comprehensive analysis,this paper makes a comprehensive analysis of the characteristics of annotation reflected in Chinese second language teaching from the perspective of the overall characteristics of annotation,the characteristics of annotation at the level of language three elements and second language acquisition.It is found that,on the whole,there are a large number of annotations in the <Sentence Explanation of New Stories Told While Trimming Wick>,which are properly detailed and concise.In addition,this paper considers the design of the difficulty degree of modern Chinese second language teaching materials according to the quantitative relationship between the number of annotations in the book and the length of articles and poems;Observed from the three elements of language level,the emphasis on vocabulary,noun vocabulary and proper nouns in the annotations reflects the important role of vocabulary in the acquisition of Chinese as a second language.In addition this paper makes a statistical analysis of the phonetic annotation and methods in the book,and makes a comparative analysis of the phonetic errors in the Korean dynasty and the modern Korean.Finally,there are few notes on grammar in the book;From the perspective of second language acquisition,this paper finds that the annotations of <Sentence Explanation of New Stories Told While Trimming Wick> have grasped the difficult points of Chinese language learning in Korea dynasty,such as poetry,allusions and other cultural aspects.The textbook is consciously annotated and reproduced.and the phenomenon of "avoidance" of the second language and errors in annotation exist.According to the above research results and relevant historical data,some reasonable Suggestions are put forward for the teaching of modern Chinese as a second language and the spreading of Chinese culture.
