Under the influence of different linguistic theories,different schools of pedagogy have been formed in the language teaching circle,including grammar translation method based on historical comparative linguistics,audiovisual method based on structural linguistics,and functional methods based on functional linguistics and so on.In the language teaching practice,in order to obtain a more effective teaching method that is more in line with the essence of language teaching,the second language teaching community has been constantly exploring and researching.Since the functional approach was introduced to our country in the 1970s,it has continuously adapted to my country’s teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.In the end,the teaching circle of Chinese as a foreign language in our country has formed a set of "localized"concepts of teaching Chinese as a foreign language that combine the three element of "structure-function-culture".In this article,I have selected the "Explanation" function item in the "Syllabus for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language Elementary Stage Syllabus" as the research object,and classify the relevant expressions under the "Explanation"function item.Each type of expression is divided into topics.The investigation is carried out separately from the aspects of grammatical form,semantics and pragmatics,and some errors that foreign students often appear when learning these expressions are analyzed,and then corresponding teaching suggestions are put forward based on these specific errors.In terms of classification,according to the common points in the grammatical form or semantics of the expressions,they are divided into causal related parts of speech,and the relevance of the explanatory relationship is inserted into the classification,and the modal adverbs used to clarify the facts are "facts" and can explain Meaning,the sentence type of "is" that expresses the interpretation.In addition,the expressions of the different categories that have been classified and the different subcategories under each category will be compared and analyzed,and these expressions will be studied more in-depth and detailed,and their similarities and differences will be pointed out.I hope this article can provide some help for international students to learn about expressions under the"Explanation" function.
