The philosophy of the mind is an important school in Chinese philosophy.Mencius,a thinker during the Warring States Period,attached great importance to the role of "mind".He believes that the "mind" has a natural moral consciousness,and that the "mind" is the thinking organ of the human body.Western Han thinker Dong Zhong-shu believes that "mind" is the master of Qi.Buddhists in the Sui and Tang dynasties believes that "mind" is the general term for all spiritual phenomena,Zhu Xi in the Southern Song Dynasty advocated that "mind" rules nature and sentiment,Lu Jiu-yuan also put forward the proposition of "mind is reason".In the Ming dynasty,Chen Bai-sha first put forward the thoughts of mind such as "taking nature as sect" and "Sitting in Quiet Meditation".Then his disciple Zhan Ruo-shui inherited and developed his mentality,Zhan Ruo-shui also make friends with Wang Yang-ming and met together to revive the sages.Both of them are representative of the Ming Dynasty’s "the philosophy of the mind",and make important contributions to the development of the " the philosophy of the mind" of the Ming Dynasty.They all agree with the world view of "mind is reason",attention to the importance of "the philosophy of the mind" for individuals and the universe.But because of their differences in thinking,growth environment,life experience,etc.They have their own unique views on many ideas and concepts inside the "the philosophy of the mind ",Comparative study of the similarities and differences of their "the philosophy of the mind" ideas,Conducive to our deeper understanding of the nuances of different ideas in the mind camp.This article is based on the comparative study of Zhan Ruo-shui and Wang Yang-ming’s thought.First,from the prosperity of Cheng Zhu School in the early Ming Dynasty to the budding of the philosophy of the mind,Analysis of the Social Factors Generated in Ming Dynasty’s "the philosophy of the mind".Then we talk about the life experiences of Zhan Ruo-shui and Wang Yang-ming and the process of establishing a deep friendship for the revival of their " the philosophy of the mind ".By comparing their core ideas of " personally realizing the principle of nature wherever one may be " and " the extension of innate knowledge ",Analyze their differences in the concepts of "personally realizing the principle of nature wherever one may be " and " the extension of innate knowledge ",And then compare their concepts of "cultivation",Shows their similarities and differences in cultivation concepts,Finally,by comparing their experiences of being in and out of Buddhism and Taoism,And neglect their debates on Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism,Analyzed their different views on the relationship between Confucianism,Buddhism and Taoism.In short,this article through the comparative study of the same thoughts and different concepts in the category of psychology,it shows that Zhan Ruo-shui and Wang Yang-ming each have their own unique ideological achievements and different ideological cognitions,it also explained to the world the similarities and differences between different factions,make people realize the essence of the mind learning thought of Ming Dynasty in our country,feel the profound cultural connotation of mind learning.
