Wang Yangming is a famous philosopher in Ming Dynasty.His thought of the innate knowledge is the main thought of his school of mind. Being different from those who established their own systems in the study, he formulated his innate knowledge in his life experience. His mature thought is marked with the thought of innate knowledge, which contains the rich context and origination and has the deep influence on that time and contemporary society.The Chapter 1 is about to demonstrate the background of the school mind of Wang Yangming and his thought of innate knowledge is the display of the spirit of the century by writing the background in politics, economic and culture in the middle of Ming Dynasty.In order to demonstrate the school of mind of Wang Yangming, this part explored the theory of mind and nature of Mencius, the school of mind of Lu Jiuyuan, Taoism and the Chan sect in Buddhism, which showed up his wide eyesight as a Confucians in Song and Ming dynasties.The Chapter 2 intends to deal with the relationship between the mind is principle and innate knowledge. According to his work and biography, the meaning of that mind is principle denotes "everybody has the possibility to become to be the holy man". And the opinion is that the principle is existed in the mind. The feature of the mind is its subjectivity because it hasn’t the shape and image and is always changing. The principle means Tianli in the thought of Zhu Xi, which is not only the ethics but also the value of material.Generally,Wang Yangming formed the thought of innate knowledge when he was persecuted by XuTai and ZhangZhong after quelling the rebellion of the Prince Ning, However, he explained the meaning of the mind when one of his letters to Lu Cheng, one of his students. The innate knowledge is the self-regulation of the mind.The Chapter 3 is the questions of the combination of knowledge and action. Firstly, this question plays a key role in Chinese philosophy; secondly, the combination knowledge is the knowledge is naturally connected with action, The essence of this question is the innate knowledge of its achievement.The Chapter 4 is the innate value and cultivate and expand it. Besides, the moral concept, the innate knowledge also points at the becoming and foundation of meaning and valuable world. Wang Yangming accomplished the establishment of inner knowledge. Cultivating and expanding is the key to live out the inner knowledge in our real life. Finally, the innate knowledge is also indicating the extent reached, which is the innate knowledge connects with the universe. The individual will acquire "the joy of Confucius and Yancius". Those will be the heroes who know about what should do and shouldn’t do.The Chapter 5 is to explore the contemporary value of the inner value. The contemporary era has begun since the year of 1978.In the contemporary Chinese society after the reforming and opening the gate, a large amount of wealth has been gathered together, the former value is being challenged and the new value can’t be founded. How to establish a newly common value is what we need cope with.The article will try to start with the background, come in to Wang Yangming’s thought of the innate knowledge and dig up the con-temporary value of the theory of the inner value.
