A Literary Geographical Interpretation Of Li Juan’s Prose

Xinjiang Essayist Lijuan,having Unique Altay theme prose,attracted many readers and researchers.Her essayes contain rich connotations about narrations of Altay region.Not only did the natural and human geographic environment of Altay provided Lijuan`s literary creation with a wealth of material and personal experiences from her childhood,but it also affected her values,aesthetic temperament and writing style,giving her space and soul to write.Therefore,Altay,as an objiective geographical space,through the writer`s aesthetic masterpiece,became the spiritual home of Lijuan`s literary world and formed a unique Altay narrative series.In Lijuan`s proses,the consturuction of natural geographical space can bee seen as a successful practice of pursuing aesthetic art.She,in the real geographic space and the process of perfect integration of geographical landscape with plot development,completed the perfect creation of art.The paper,from the perspective of literary geography,mainly focuses on Lijuan`s prose and the geographical environment of Altay in which she lives and the relationship among writers and their works,works and geographical environment and author and geographical environment,and applies to The Concept of Literary Geography put forward by professors Zou Jianjun and Zeng Daxing.This paper also analyzes the Influence of natural geographical environment on Li Juan,her creation and her unique geographical genes,and the formation of them through The Concept of Gepgraphy Gene by professor Zou Jianjun,which gives a further interpretation of Lijuan’s prose.Finally,The full summary expounds the significance of literary geography research.The thesis consists of three main parts:As an introduction part,the first part,including the research status of this paper at home and abroad,introduces the basis and purpose of the research,the research significance and its method of literary geography criticism theory.The second part,the main portion of the paper,includes the second,third and fifth chapter.The second chapter introduces and analyzes the relationship between altay geographical environment and lijuan‵s creation,and further discusses the influence of natural geographical environment and human environmet on lijuan and her works.Then,the third chapter mainly analyzes the unique geographical elements on Li juan,and further discusses the female image in a specific geographical environment.Chapter four,focusing on the construction and significance of geographical space in Lijuan’s prose,mainly analyzes the relationship between geographic space and spiritual pursuit on lijuan‵sworks.At the same time,it also discusses the artistic and aesthetic characteristics in the her works,explaines the constructional meaning of geographical space in her prose,finally explains Lijuan’s reflection on her life in the specific geographical environment.As the conclusion of this paper,the third part makes a comprehensive summary on the research andanalysis above.In this part,firstly the impact of altay‵s geographical environment on li juan and her works and her geographical elements get summarized,after which the construction of geographical space and other three aspects of the research results are concluded.Finally,it focuses on the status of Li juan’s Altay themed proses in Chinese literature and its exemplary role in contemporary literary creation.
