A Study Of Hubei Film Creation From The Perspective Of Regional Culture(2010/2017)

China’s rich regional culture provides a variety of material content and creative inspiration for the creation of films.Different folk customs,natural ecology and language habits in different regions have become the source of film creation background,theme selection and storyline.Hubei is the birthplace of Jingchu culture.As a systematic regional cultural symbol,Jingchu culture is favored by filmmakers,which enriches the cultural connotation of film creation.This thesis attempts to sort out,analyze and reflect on the creation of Hubei film since 2010 from the perspective of regional culture.The first chapter mainly expounds the creation of Hubei movies.Taking the time as the context,the Hubei film has been sorted out from ancient times to the present,focusing on the current situation of Hubei film creation.The second chapter mainly discusses the diversified theme and type development of Hubei film creation.The thesis divides Hubei film creation into two parts: historical theme and realistic theme.Historical films are characterized by historical events and historical figures.The realistic themes include rural themes,urban themes,religious subjects,ethnic themes,and children’s themes.These works vividly reflect the transformation and conflicts of contemporary China’s economy,politics,and culture.It is the era of people’s life,emotions and social changes.The third chapter mainly analyzes the regional culture of Hubei and the spatial presentation of different regional cultures on the screen,focusing on the three cultures,the famous temple ancient temple culture,the Yangtze River Three Gorges culture,the Qingjiang Batu culture,the Jiangcheng Wuhan culture and the modern revolutionary culture.The specific performance in the film and the aesthetic characteristics of the film are described.The fourth chapter starts from the predicament and problems of Hubei film creation and development,and discusses the future development of Hubei film and puts forward its own countermeasures.Hubei film creation has problems such as backward environment,lack of production staff,and single type of film.It is necessary to continuously increase the development of Jingchu cultural resources,strengthen the creation of film type,and attach importance to the cooperation of film teams.
