An Analysis Of Mongolian Marriage System In Mengyuan Dynasty

Marriage is a social system,and the reverse driving effect of the system on culture can have a significant impact on the culture of an ethnic group.If marriage is to maintain traditional culture as the core and maintain relative stability,it can achieve the role of strengthening traditional culture.This article takes the Mongolian marriage system during the Meng Yuan Dynasty as the main research topic.Through analyzing the types and forms of the Mongolian marriage system in the Meng Yuan Dynasties,it is understood that the Mongolian marriage system of the Meng Yuan Dynasties mainly includes marriage,husband-in-law marriage,and marriage.Step marriage and wife-to-sister marriage have two characteristics: the practice of polygamy and the special legal status of women.By analyzing the elements of Mongolian marriages in the Meng Yuan dynasties,it is learned that marriages of the same clan or the same surname are prohibited,polygamy is prohibited,good and cheap marriages are prohibited,and marriages within the service of marriage are prohibited.The formal requirements of marriage conclusion mainly include marriage documents,employment and weddings.This summarizes the regulations on the dissolution and reconstruction of the Mongolian marriage relationship during the Meng Yuan Dynasties.It is hoped that through the research of this article,we can have a more complete understanding of the Meng Yuan Mongolian marriage system.
