A Study On Woman Of The Han Nationality In The Yuan Dynasty

The Yuan dynasty was a dynasty that adopted the political and cultural system of the Mongolian-Han dualism.The life style and social status of the Han women living in the Yuan Dynasty and the former women must be different.Influenced by the open and free Mongolian grassland customs in the society,the Han women’s living environment is more relaxed.This article examines the status of the Han women in the Yuan Dynasty from the family life of Han women in Yuan Dynasty,the legal provisions of women in Yuan Dynasty,women’s social participation,women’s body and medical care.In terms of family life,there are different roles for women in different life periods,and the main activities and family status in the family are also different,this article explores them separately.In terms of legal status,it mainly examines the provisions on women’s marriage in the law and the provisions on women’s succession and ownership.In terms of social status,it mainly examines the situation of women’s divorce in marrying and going out to make a living.In the body and health care,this article discusses women’s footbinding and makeup,illness,and childbirth.The male superiority is still the overall situation of the status of men and women in the Yuan Dynasty,and women are still in the state of attaching men.Women’s statusin the family is always lower than male in their peers.However,as a whole,the status of the Han women in the Yuan Dynasty has been improved compared to the previous generation.
