In recent years,the realization of green development of economy,society,resources and environment has become an important trend at home and abroad,and has become a hot issue of common concern in many countries.Many countries regard the development of green industry as an important measure to promote economic restructuring,highlighting the connotation and concept of green.Since the reform and opening up,China has completed the industrialization and urbanization of time and space compression in 40 years,which has achieved the rapid development of economy and society.At the same time,it has also brought many resource and environmental problems,such as excessive consumption of resources,deterioration of environmental quality and so on.Therefore,it is necessary to realize green development,which is the economic growth and social development mode with the goal of efficiency,harmony and sustainability It is the inevitable choice of development.The Yellow River Basin is a typical epitome of China’s economic development and resource and environmental problems in the past 40 years.Due to the high pollution and high consumption brought by the traditional development model,the Yellow River Basin is in urgent need of green development to realize the coordinated development of human land relationship,the sustainable development of resources and energy,and the steady development of economy and society It has important theoretical and practical significance.Based on the theory of human land coordinated development and other related theories,this paper uses the data processing method supported by entropy technology to quantitatively evaluate the green development level of 91 prefecture level cities in the Yellow River Basin from 2005 to 2017,and uses Gini coefficient,trend surface analysis,cold and hot spot analysis and other methods to analyze their spatial and temporal evolution.Through the construction of obstacle degree model,this paper explores the impact of different indicators on the Yellow River Basin The influence effect of green development level in the river basin.Based on the above empirical analysis results,this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to further promote the green development level of the Yellow River Basin,and makes prospects for future research.The main conclusions are as follows(1)The green development level of prefecture level cities in the Yellow River Basin shows an upward trend year by year.During the study period,the evaluation value of green development level rises from 0.133 to 0.227,with an average annual growth rate of 5.437%.The improvement of green development level mainly comes from the improvement of green growth and social welfare level.The evaluation value of green growth increased from 0.045 to 0.093,with a growth rate of 106.667%.The evaluation value of social welfare increased from 0.043 to 0.083,with a growth rate of 93.023%.The economic structure,economic strength,transportation,scientific and technological innovation,medical and health care,and residents’ life have been significantly improved The level of natural capital showed a fluctuating trend,the level of resource endowment decreased,and the level of environmental quality improved.The green development level of the upper,middle and lower reaches of the region has been improved.The change of the green development level can be divided into rapid growth stage,fluctuation platform stage and stable improvement stage.Due to the different development policies of the central and local governments in different periods,the improvement of the green development level presents the stage characteristics.The growth rate of green development level in Shandong Province,Henan Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is more than 70%,and the green development level is matching with the economic development level.(2)The spatial pattern of green development level is lower reaches > middle reaches > upper reaches,decreasing gradually from east to West in the east-west direction,showing an inverted U-shaped curve of high in north-south and low in the middle in the north-south direction.The difference degree of green development level is rising from 2005 to 2010,and it is in a fluctuating stage from 2011 to 2017,which tends to be stable,and the development difference between regions is gradually stable.The spatial distribution pattern of green growth and social well-being is consistent with that of green development,which is downstream > midstream > upstream.The level of natural capital shows the spatial pattern of upstream > midstream >downstream.During the study period,the green development level presents a positive agglomeration trend in space,and the agglomeration level is decreasing.The hot spots are concentrated in eastern Shandong Province and hubao’e region of Inner Mongolia,the cold spots are concentrated in Northern Henan Province,and the southern areas of Shanxi Province and Shaanxi Province,showing a spatial distribution pattern of hot northeast and cold southwest.(3)During the study period,the barriers of green growth,social well-being and natural capital have declined,with the fastest decline in green growth and the slowest decline in natural capital.During the study period,except for the proportion of scientific research expenditure in financial expenditure,ecological environment construction expenditure in financial expenditure,per capita water resources and PM2.5 index,the obstacle level of most indicators showed a downward trend.(4)Although the green development level of the Yellow River Basin has been improved,there is still a certain gap with the national average level in terms of economic growth and social progress.The economic strength needs to be improved,the quality of economic development needs to be enhanced,the green development management mechanism needs to be improved,the social security investment needs to be strengthened,and the resource and environmental problems need to be constrained and improved.The Yellow River Basin should establish the concept of green development,advocate green lifestyle,optimize the layout of industrial structure,promote the steady growth of green economy,improve the management mechanism system,improve the quality of regional green development,increase the investment in science,education,culture and health,enhance the well-being of people’s livelihood,improve the quality of ecological environment,and realize the sustainable utilization of resources Stable improvement.By exploring the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of green development level in the Yellow River Basin and analyzing the obstacle factors,the research has the following innovations: first,it deeply interprets the concept connotation of green development level,and constructs the green development level index system from three dimensions of green growth,social welfare and natural capital,so as to form an organic connection between the concept connotation and the index system and improve the green development level The second is to explore the temporal and spatial evolution characteristics of green development in the Yellow River Basin,which makes up for the lack of current research on the green development level of the basin
