| Epitaph is an important funerary object to record the surname,official rank and life equality of the deceased.In recent years,most of the epitaphs excavated are Stone Square,in addition,the special type epitaphs also occasionally unearthed,such as turtle-shaped epitaphs.There are the epitaph of Yuan Xianjun in the Northern Wei Dynasty,Hao Zhe in the Sui Dynasty,Li Shou in the Tang Dynasty,Feng Kuo in the Tang dynasty and Lu Gongliang in the Tang Dynasty.Starting from the origin of "Tortoise Culture",this paper puts forward the connotation of tortoise culture,the tracing and application of tortoise-shell decoration and the origin and development of tortoise-shaped Epitaph,and obtains clear image data and survey data of tortoise-shaped Epitaph by means of field investigation,by using the methods of literature study,Analysis and summary,comparative study,this paper makes a systematic and in-depth analysis of the writing style,structure,writing style and the evolution of characters in ancient tortoise-shaped epitaphs.It is concluded that,firstly,the use of turtle-shaped epitaphs not only reflects people’s longing for and praying for beautiful things,but also reflects the changes of funeral system and culture from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Sui and Tang dynasties.Secondly,the script used in the epitaph of the tortoise-shaped tomb is based on regular script,and on the basis of this,it is mixed with the meaning of seal characters,official script strokes and strokes,thus presenting different styles and features,however,the appearance of the calligraphy style also shows the development of regular script from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Sui and Tang dynasties.Thirdly,there are some hybridized forms in the epitaph of tortoise shape,which has a unique reference significance for the future calligraphy creation.It not only broadens the academic horizon,but also makes up for the insufficiency of the ancient Turtle Epitaph to the calligraphy artistic style research,in order to make the reference for the later scholar. |
