Green behavior refers to the environmental behavior of employees in the workplace.Recently,with the implementation of garbage classification policy and the goal of “beautiful China”,green behavior has become a hot spot in the field of management psychology.There’re some achievements in the study of green behavior of Chinese employees.But more antecedents of employees’ green behavior still need to be discovered and studied.Perceived organizational support is a subjective cognition and experience.Its relationship with green behavior was the focus of this paper.This study aimed to explore the multiple mediating effects between perceived organizational support and green behavior.The independent variables of the study were perceived organizational support,the dependent variables were green behavior,and the intermediate variables were organizational commitment and job satisfaction.The study was conducted by issuing standardized questionnaires.The participants were selected from 3 enterprises in Jiangsu Province,including two biomedical companies from Nanjing Jiangning District and Lianyungang Economic and Technological Development Zones,and one manufacturing company from Nantong High-tech Zone.The total number of subjects was 699.The effective rate of questionnaire collection was 93.2%.The results of correlation analysis showed that perceived organizational support,organizational commitment,job satisfaction and green behavior were positively correlated.The results of regression analysis showed that perceived organizational support significantly predicted organizational commitment and job satisfaction,and positively predicted green behavior.Organizational commitment significantly predicted job satisfaction and green behavior.Job satisfaction significantly predicted green behavior.Using Process macro-program plug-in to test the effect of multiple mediations.And it turned out that Organizational commitment played a significant role in mediating part between perceived organizational support and green behavior;job satisfaction played a significant role in mediating part between organizational support and green behavior;and organizational commitment and job satisfaction played a significant role in mediating multiple roles between perceived organizational support and green behavior.
