The economic forum maintains a high-end economic communication method between countries as the globalization develops,of which interpreting is regarded as an indispensable part.However,this special model requires the interpreters equipped with the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.This report highlights on the preparation,evaluation and post-reflection on the forum interpreting.Under the guidance of Gile’s Effort Model,this report composes of the analysis of on-scene record and real cases.The interpreter reflects on the mistranslation,exploring the ultimate causes,dividing the problem-triggers into different parts,the external and internal.The external was triggered by equipment failure and speaker’s error.The internal was laid on overload in short-term memory,analysis and comprehension.In order to solve these problems,the interpreter adopts Gile’s coping tactics,which are brought about from the cognitive psychology,aiming to reduce the interpreter’s effort burden.For example: parrot interpreting,paraphrasing,explaining,generalization and segmentation.This report on simultaneous interpreting helps the interpreter herself to in-depth analyze the mis-interpretation and wrong-respondence to the context and provide effective methods to solve the above-said problems.
