Separation anxiety is a common emotional phenomenon in young children.It is the lack of security in the surrounding unfamiliar environment when young children and their caregivers are separated.They show a feeling of worry,anxiety and fear.One of the dimensions.Based on the concern about the emotional and social development of children in floating families,this study used the "Chinese Urban Children’s Emotional and Social Assessment Scale" revised by Zhang Jianduan to conduct a questionnaire survey on children aged 1 to 3 in C community of Kunming City.The questionnaire was filled out by the primary caregivers of the children.A total of 50 questionnaires were distributed,45 were returned,and 43 valid questionnaires,with an effective recovery rate of 86%.According to the analysis of 43 questionnaires,12 children in the emotional and social implicit domain of children had separation anxiety,and the detection rate was28%.According to the voluntary principle and the caregiver’s time schedule,this study selected 10 children from community C who were detected separation anxiety and were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group,taking the children and their primary caregivers as the service objects.For the experimental group,a total of 8 social work service interventions were conducted for 8 weeks,while the control group did not take any intervention measures.Social work interventions use a combination of group and case work methods.Under the guidance of attachment theory,cognitive development theory and social learning theory,flexible use of picture books,games and other tools to provide services for children and their caregivers.After the intervention,the separation anxiety scores of the experimental group and the control group were post-tested separately,comparing the pre-test and post-test of the experimental group,the comparison of the pre-test and post-test of the control group,the post-test of the experimental group and the post-test of the control group At the same time,interview to understand the changes and gains of the child caregivers in this service;and after three months,the experimental group was tracked and compared with the pre-test and post-test.The results show that this social work intervention caneffectively alleviate the separation anxiety of children in floating families,and the positive role they play has certain sustainability.After the service reflection,the author puts forward suggestions to alleviate the separation anxiety of young children: parents should be fully mobilized and parents should be encouraged to participate;based on community children’s homes,provide early childhood development services;social workers provide early childhood teachers with training service.
