With the development of science and technology,mobile phones are becoming more and more complete and powerful,and the penetration rate of mobile phones is also very high,following with the mobile phone dependence.Previous studies on mobile phone addiction mainly focus on the formation mechanism,influencing factors and measurement of mobile phone dependence.Some researchers think it is a kind of action to avoid negative emotions and events,and social anxiety,as one of the susceptible factors of addictive behaviors,is certified to be relative to mobile phone dependence,but the ways that how social anxiety affects mobile phone dependence has not been ascertained.Therefore,this study will examine how social anxiety affects the mobile phone dependence of high school students,and explore the important role of group counseling in intervening the mobile phone addiction.In the first study,1208 high school students were selected to be the study members,and it investigated their basic situation of mobile phone use,social anxiety,mobile phone dependence,self-concept clarity and rumination through such forms as "Self-rating questionnaire for adolescent problematic mobile phone use",the "Social anxiety scale for adolescents",the "Self-concept clarity scale" and the "Ruminative response scale".The results showed that(1)there were significant differences in the age,gender,use history of mobile phone dependence;(2)mobile phone dependence has positive correlation with social anxiety and rumination,and negative correlation with self-concept clarity;and self-concept clarity is negatively correlated with rumination and social anxiety,and rumination is positively correlated with social anxiety.(3)self-concept clarity and rumination play a chain mediating role in the impact of social anxiety on mobile phone dependence.In the second study,22 high school students with mobile phone dependence were given group counseling based on the influence mechanism study,starting from self-concept clarity and rumination.The study showed that high-school student’s self-concept clarity was improved effectively through group counseling,and their rumination was reduced,thereby reducing their mobile phone dependence,which supported the effectiveness of the intervention plan.The study made it clear that how social anxiety affects high school students’ mobile phone dependence,and discussed the effective intervention of group guidance on mobile phone dependence,which enriched related theories of the mobile phone dependence research and helped to guide the intervention and treatment on it. |
