A Study On The Dual Visualization Of Classic Novels And Their Relations

The dual visualization of classic novels means that the visualization of internal elements and visualization of the external form relate to each other,which exerts a very strong influence on the diversified development and the inheritance of the classic novel.They can integrate into themselves partly,however,there are also conflicts and breakages between them,so that they can’t integrate into each other completely.It’s a miniature and representative of the study of the relationship between graphic and literary research.The paper mainly adopts the method of literature research and text analysis.Firstly,this paper clarifies the concepts and characteristics of classic novels,define the phenomenon of literary visualization,summarize the performance of dual visualization of classic novels,trace the origin of the phenomenon of classic novels and find the theoretical basis.Secondly,this paper analyzes the method of visualization of internal elements of the classic novel bases on the language,characters and space scene and other aspects of the novel.Among them,the existence of verbal icon is the basis of the visualization of the internal elements of classical novels.Through the use of descriptive verbal icon,figurative verbal icon and symbolic verbal icon,classic novels establish rich language images,both shape and color characters and scenes that break the boundaries of time and space.At the same time,the three complement each other,to enhance and promote the iconicity,structural integrity and linguistic diversity of classical novels.Thirdly,according to the chronological order from ancient to modern times,from embroidery novels to graphic novels,and the film and television adaptation of novels and the adaptation of online games,this paper discusses in detail the visualization process of the external form of classic novels.In this process,the way of image existence is from static image to dynamic image to visual interaction,and the literariness of classical novels is also gradually decreasing.The literariness of graphic novels is the strongest,the adaptation of film and television works is the second,and the literariness of online games is the weakest,which also reflects the differences of three external forms of visualization.Based on the above analysis of the dual visualization in classic novels,this paperdeduces the relationship between the two.The visualization of internal elements is the basis of the visualization of the external form,between the two is from the inside out of the fusion and transformation.However,there are still some incompatibilities between the two,for example,metaphorical expression and psychological description of stream of consciousness,this is not only the unique part of the novel text,but also the reason for the diversified development of the novel form.At the same time,the visualization of external form also has reaction on the visualization of internal elements,which changes the readers’ acceptance experience of literature.In the process of transforming the text language of novels into visual images,its polysemy and iconicity become relatively simple and intuitive.However,under the effect of film and television,the novel language has a new level of polysemy.Not only that,under the reaction of the visualization of external form,new novel styles and multiple modes of communication are also derived,which constantly promote the enrichment and development of novel content,make the acceptance group of literary classics more diversified,and promote the dissemination and development of classic novels.
