A Study On Reports Of Shengjing Times Concerning The Chinese Internal Contradictions Around The Outbreak Of All-round Anti-Japanese War

Around the outbreak of all-round Anti-Japanese War,on the one hand,the war between China and Japan continued to escalate and spread from north to south,on the other hand,the social situation changed dramatically."Shengjing Times" is a propaganda tool for Japanese aggression in China.At that time,it reported a lot of events involving the internal contradictions of politics,military,economy and culture in the war front.In this paper,taking the reports from May 1937 to November 1937 as the starting point,by combing the reports of different types and contents,the author explores how Shengjing Times,as a cultural entity in modern Chinese history,tries to play its role in this period,and then analyzes its characteristics,changes and position of reports.In this paper,it is divided into three parts.In the first part,the report of internal political contradictions in Shengjing Times on the eve of the formation of the rear area of the Anti-Japanese war is introduced.In the report,focusing on the internal contradictions of the Kuomintang and the contradictions between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party,it tries to build a tense relationship among the important figures or factions in the Kuomintang,convey the impression of different opinions of the senior decision-makers,and oppose the normal cooperative relationship between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party.In the second part,it starts from the report of "Shengjing Times" on the military contradiction before the formation of the rear area of the Anti-Japanese war.In the early stage of the report,the words are still mild.To create the illusion of justice for Japan to maintain peace is to show the weakness of China’s military strength from the side.However,the later reports blatantly advocate the results of the war,separate the North China area,and guide the masses to understand the strength of the Japanese army.In the third part,the report on the economic and cultural contradictions before the formation of the rear area of the Anti-Japanese war in Shengjing Times is analyzed.The purpose of the report is to convey the uneasiness of China’s economic chaos and slander the cultural propaganda achievements of the rear area.Throughout 350 reports of Shengjing Times in half a year,it has always maintained the same political position with Japan,and its words,attitude and political tendency have also experienced changes from mild,covert to intense and obvious.Furthermore,during this period,it has three characteristics: logical cognitive contradiction,the fact of choosing to add or change,and obvious political purpose,playing the role of a propaganda tool to cooperate with Japanese military action among Northeast Chinese readers.
