An Analysis On The Contradictions Of The Ming And The Choson During The War Of Anti-wo And Assist-korea

China, Korean, and Japan are friendly neighbors linked by mountains and riversand have a close relationship since ancient times. In the history, friendly intercoursesare predominant but contradictory conflicts are also exit. For example, the War ofAnti-Wo and assist-Korea in The Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty in China lastedfrom1592to1598, which broke out because of Japan wanted to step up its aggressionagainst China after annex Korea. Upon request of the Korean King, the centralgovernment of Ming dynasty dispatched reinforcements there, which was known asexpedition to resist the Japanese and to support Korea at that time. The war lastedseven years and had an impact on the situation of the whole East Asia at the end of the16th century. As a result, people of Man nationality crossed the border and Bakufugovernment established in Japan.There are a number of domestic and overseas achievements in research of thewar. The contents are multifarious and disorderly, so each side persisted in its ownviews. The three countries are all entangled in the issues for hundreds of years and thetruth has been shrouded in mystery. As the20th century has progressed, after theintroduction of western historiography theory, a new theoretical system had beenestablished among East Asian countries.Under the guidance of ChineseHistoriography Thought, this essay aims to reconstitute the process of this segment ofhistory and to make a fierce effort to travel through error to truth.According to the material and the documents of China and Korea, this paperfocuses on the contacts between the countries of China and Korea. The contradictionsamong the army of Ming Dynasty are also main concern. And the paper analyzed therelations between the two countries before the war, and researched the condition ofmilitary system in Ming Dynasty. Furthermore, it studied the conflicts in China-Korea Military Cooperation and in the court. And then this essay illustrates thechanging nature of the relationship between the two countries and the sharp strugglein Ming government.
