| With the continuous deepening and reformation of English curriculum,English teaching in primary school has received more and more attention.The new standards of English courses in primary school will have more new requirements on English teaching,and it is time for primary school English teaching to reform.Researchers have already begun with their studies from multiple aspects.The combination of Ecology and education is becoming one of hot topics in education studies,so ecological class rises at the right moment.The primary school English classroom teaching is the study of the ecological education in the micro field,which is still at the preliminary stage of development in theoretical study but relatively poor in practical study.Therefore,the author aims to study the basic theory of educational ecology to guide the teaching practice,for the purpose of solving the following problems: 1)what are the problems of ecological imbalance at present in Tongnan primary school English class? 2)How to construct the primary school English class? 3)What is the effect of the construction of ecological English class?This study firstly analyzes the related literature at home and aboard,defining the core concepts of "ecological class" and "educational ecology" and expounding the basic connotation and main characteristics of ecological class.Secondly,this paper combines the ecological teaching basic viewpoints with education ecology and multiple intelligence theory,which provides theoretical support for this paper.It also uses the literature method,interviews,and action research method to study and analyze the English class in primary school.The author randomly selects 30 teachers and 280 students who study in grade five or six in Wo Fo schools to do questionnaire in order to know the situation of English teaching in primary school.By comparing the data,we can draw the following conclusions:1)The teachers’ teaching behavior and teaching environment is not ecological in recent English class.2)We can construct ecological primary English class from the aspects of teacher,students and teaching environments.3)the ecological class is the ideal form of English class in primary school,which can solve the ecological imbalance in class.The ecological English class mode which has been put into practice in primary school can gets good results,both on teaching effect and on the students’ sustainable development.The results of this survey and research show that construction of the ecological class in primary school call for teachers shaping ecological teaching behavior,creating a good classroom environment,building a harmonious relationship between teachers and students.This paper provides practical value for ecological primary English class and reference for English class construction in the future. |
