A Chinese high-frequency word called "Hao" is widely applied in our daily communication.The Chinese title of "Ni Hao"(hello)appears in the first lesson in the most current textbooks of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(TCFL).It is easy to understand the literal meaning of "Hao",but its semantic items are diverse and word formation is free.As a result,it becomes a problem existing in TCFL.Through the investigation on the "Hao" compilation in three sets of authoritative TCFL textbooks,it is found that there are three problems,including unclear annotation,unreasonable sequence of meaning arrangement and insufficient validity of example sentences.Therefore,it is analyzed reasonably by combining the "Hao" teaching grammar to put forward some suggestions and strategies about the "Hao" textbook compilation.The paper is divided into the following chapters.The research object and scope of the paper are mainly defined in the part of introduction.The research significance and method of the paper are put forward.Moreover,the previous research results are summarized and the research space of the paper is illustrated.In the first chapter,the "Hao" compilation in the three sets of textbooks is mainly summarized and arranged.The compilation sequence,notes and example sentences of "Hao" in these textbooks are summarized and compared.The advantages and disadvantages of textbook compilation are discussed.In the second chapter,the "Hao" grammar is mainly supplemented in these textbooks.The teaching grammar is discussed,including the fuzziness and discourse function of adjective meaning and the grammaticalization of adverb meaning.In addition,the "Hao" synonyms in these textbooks are analyzed.It is attempted to make some "Hao" teaching grammar suggestions.In the final chapter,the "Hao" compilation in these textbooks is mainly discussed.It is drawn that there are three problems,such as unclear annotation,insufficient validity of example sentences and unreasonable learning order of meaning items.Moreover,some corresponding rationalization suggestions and textbook compilation strategies are put forward.Generally speaking,the semantic diversity of the high-frequency word of "Hao" is complex.In the process of the teaching grammar establishment and textbook compilation of "Hao",it is necessary to reflect the status of "Hao" core semantics and have a certain understanding of the application conditions and language environment of different synonyms. |
