With the widespread application of modern information technology,various cultures in various countries,nations and regions of the world are blending with other ethnic cultures and enriching and improving themselves in the development of the times.Chinese culture is vast and profound,and under the impetus of history,comprehensive exchanges have also begun.And with the improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength and the development needs of strengthening the country’s "cultural soft power",not only does the world need to know China and understand Chinese culture,but China also needs to "go global" and conduct cultural exchanges with other countries.Literature,as an important carrier of culture,carries a wealth of cultural information about the Chinese nation’s values,mental state,cultural practices,moral ethics,and social relations,and is regarded as an important means of Chinese cultural transmission.The earliest foreign friends knew China through "Marco Polo’s Travels",and later learned about China through classic novels representing a higher level of Chinese literature,such as "A Dream of Red Mansions" and "Water Margin".The writers took literature as a medium,transmitted cultural information to the readers,and then realized the cultural transmission value of literature itself in the two-way relationship of author-literature-reader communication.In addition,with the increase in the number of Chinese learners and the continuous improvement of the level of Chinese learners,the significance of the existence of literature classes has become increasingly prominent.For advanced-level Chinese learners,literature is an extremely important course.It can not only improve learners’ Chinese language level,but also meet the cultural needs of learners.The research object of this article is set for the teaching of modern and contemporary literature for advanced Chinese learners abroad.Based on the actual teaching situation and the combination of previous teaching research results,through the study and analysis of curriculum positioning,teaching methods,and textbooks,we will discover modern and contemporary literature.Problems existing in the curriculum,combined with relevant theories and experience,put forward overall ideas and specific measures for this problem,and verified and reflected on the ideas through specific teaching cases.I hope that the curriculum design of other advanced Chinese literature courses at home and abroad can be useful.Certain enlightenment.The research of this paper is divided into five parts,which are described as follows:In the introduction part,the author mainly expounds the research purpose,research significance and current status of modern and contemporary literature teaching for advanced international students at home and abroad,and illustrates the importance of modern and contemporary literature to advanced Chinese learners.The first chapter is about the necessity and problems of the teaching of modern and contemporary literature in senior grades.Necessary Sexuality is the significance of teaching modern and contemporary Chinese literature to advanced Chinese learners.The existing problems are the main parts summarized by the author on the basis of previous studies and his own practical experience,including three aspects:unclear course positioning,teaching methods to be improved,and a single genre of literary works.The structure and content of the last two chapters are built on this basis.Chapter Two,the ideas and concrete solutions to the teaching problems of modern and contemporary literature in Chapter One,including three aspects: clear curriculum orientation,innovative teaching methods,and reasonable selection of literary works.These three aspects are independent and inseparable from each other,which is the basis of the curriculum design below.In chapter three,the course teaching design of modern and contemporary literature courses is carried out through specific teaching objects and teachingcontents,and the course design is analyzed through teaching effect feedback.The fourth chapter proposes teaching inspiration and reflection.
