The JLP(Japanese Language Program)is a Japanese study program specially designed for foreign students by the Japanese Language Center of Waseda University.Based on the author’s half-year Japanese learning experience in the project,this thesis will take foreign Japanese teaching as an entry point,specifically study the cultivation of cross-cultural communication skills in foreign Japanese classrooms,and promote the teaching in foreign language and the development of cross-cultural communicative competence.The whole discussion takes the cross-cultural communicative competence model theory which contains three key elements: knowledge,skills and consciousness as a reference.First,the project is specifically considered from the aspects of teaching content,teaching characteristics and learning subjects,and summarize the characteristics of JLP project in developing the communicative competence;Then,in the form of a questionnaire,the domestic Japanese learning students are used as the survey object to highlight the specific emphasis of the JLP project on cross-cultural communicative competence development,and compare the expected and actual results of the competency development.Based on this,the advantages and disadvantages of the project were analyzed in a targeted manner.Finally,according to the specific characteristics and limitations of the project,the author adopts Gu Xiaole’s circular model of cross-cultural communicative ability teaching practice.Based on three aspects: teaching content,teaching methods,and teaching relationships,the thesis puts forward targeted training suggestions and strategies,and extend from Japanese classroom teaching to Chinese teaching as a foreign language,which summarizes the training methods that can also be suitable for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.So,the connection between language teaching may be established,and Japanese teaching can improve the ability of intercultural communication also provides a certain paradigm and reference for teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Therefore,the whole discussion takes the specific examples of Japanese classroom teaching in foreign countries as a starting point,and makes a research and analysis of cross-cultural communicative competence.It aims to promote the development of cross-culturalcommunicative competence in Japanese classrooms,and can be further extended to foreign countries with Japanese teaching experience.Chinese can better promote cross-cultural communication between China and Japan,and promote language talents on both sides to contribute to the friendly exchanges between China and Japan.
