The Cultural Paths Spreading Around The South China Sea

In recent years,the peripheral communication theory has gradually shown its important role in the development of peripheral diplomacy in China.Vietnam is adjacent to China’s land and water.The South China Sea issue has always been a lingering issue between the two countries.The southernmost province of China,Hainan Province,is the forefront of the South China Sea issue between China and Vietnam.Vietnam and Hainan Province are only one sea apart.If guided by the surrounding communication theory,folk cultural tourism will be established as a viable cultural path for communication between Hainan and Vietnam,then folk cultural tourism will be able to give full play to its communication advantages and become an active communication country.The powerful media of culture,while enriching the surrounding communication theory,can also further promote good-neighborly and friendly relations between China and neighboring countries.This study uses the relevant theories of peripheral communication and folk culture tourism to sort out the relationship between the two.Based on theoretical analysis,through literature analysis,quantitative research,field research and other methods,while combining literature and data analysis,combined Field research and interviews to analyze the current situation of the development of folk culture tourism in Hainan and Vietnam,and found the problems in the process of Hainan’s spread of folk culture tourism around Vietnam;by combing the potential advantages of Hainan’s spread of folk culture tourism around Vietnam,Research on the relevant folk cultures and characteristics of Hainan and Vietnam,sort out their respective characteristics and development status,and conclude that Vietnam and Hainan are not only culturally homologous,but also have very distinctive folk characteristics,which lays the foundation between the two places.A solid foundation for carrying out the peripheral communication of folk culture tourism,therefore,in light of this favorable factor,the path selection for Hainan to carry out the peripheral communication of folk culture tourism for Vietnam is proposed.This is not only a positive study of the application of peripheral communication theory in practice.The activity can also promote friendlyexchanges between different regions and cultures,and inject lubricant into the proper resolution of the China-Vietnam maritime issue.The conclusion of the thesis analyzes the current trend of China-Vietnam’s peripheral diplomacy.In order to weaken the China-Vietnam maritime issue,it further demonstrates the necessity and importance of peripheral communications,and also provides for strengthening cultural communications and exchanges and cooperation in the surrounding areas of neighboring countries.For reference and reference,this is also the social significance of the thesis research.
