A Preliminary Study On The Modeling Of The Statue Of Huangtian Town From The Perspective Of Artistic Anthropology

Chen Jinggu’s custom culture originated in Gutian County and is one of the most influential folk local cultures in Fujian Province,and its spread is extensive,especially in the eastern Fujian,northern Fujian and southern Zhejiang areas.Huangtian town area belongs to Chen Jinggu sub-belief circle,different from the Gutian County Linshuigong ancestral hall,its god class system is mixed and huge,belongs to the multi-god belief,the gods have their own duties,to meet the believers in the face of different difficulties in life needs different spiritual demands.This paper takes the statue modeling of Huangtian Town as the research object,including the main god and the matching god,through the field investigation and the reading of historical documents,excavates the integrity of its local culture from the perspective of art anthropology,and tries to analyze the civil society identity and aesthetic value of metaphor in the statue modeling under the unique cultural space of the place.This paper analyzes the cultural and geographical features and historical evolution of Huangtian Town,records the large-scale ritual activities with high popular participation and strong festive atmosphere held every Lantern Festival,and analyzes the body features,facial features,costumes and hand-held objects and related accessories of Huangtian Town’s idols,including ancient books,sculptures,drama images,etc.This paper re-recognizes the local cultural tradition and resources,has a clearer and more accurate position on the composition of the idol in the secondary belief circle,understands that the shape of the statue of Huangtian Town carries the belief of the local people,and reveals the cultural value and artistic charm of the intangible cultural heritage.
