| Since ancient times,Yangzhou has been "ruled by many great officials".Although Yangzhou did not enjoy the glory of the Tang Dynasty in the Northern Song Dynasty,it is still the capital of the southeast big vassal state of Huaidong,and it is adjacent to the Yangtze River.The unique geographical location through which the canal runs makes Yangzhou a metropolis between Yangtze River and Huaihe river.Therefore,the governors of Yangzhou is a local drama in the court.The study of the governors of Yangzhou during the three dynasties of Ren Zong,Ying Zong and Shen Zong in the Northern Song Dynasty is divided into three parts.Firstly,Li Zhiliang’s Chronology of governors in the Song Dynasty is taken as the textual research object,and the specific list and term of office of commissioner in practice are determined first.During 63 years,there were 50 governors of Yangzhou,with each term of governor lasting one year and three months on average,which is far from its own system of three-year survey in the Song Dynasty.The Injong Dynasty’s method of moving officials far away was destroyed during the reign of Emperor Shen Zongchao,and officials moved more frequently,resulting in the shortening of the average term of office of Yangzhou commissioner after Emperor Ying Zong.Secondly,the native place avoidance system that began to be implemented in the early Northern Song Dynasty was gradually relaxed in all walks of life by the time of the True Zong Dynasty.In addition,the imperial examination in the Ren Zong Dynasty changed the policy of taking more northerners in the past.The interaction of the two made the three dynasties of Ren Zong,Ying Zong and Shen Zong show the distribution characteristics of more southerners and less northerners in the native place of Yang Zhi Zhou.Moreover,because of the unique geographical location of Yangzhou,most of the people who came to Yang Zhi Zhou in the three dynasties came from the neighboring road of Huainan,or the people who came from a long way to take office in Huainan shortcut were transferred to Yangzhou.In the aspect of the title of commissioner,the grades of official officials brought to Yangzhou commissioner are quite large,both high and low,which reflects the separation of official officials and dispatching in Yangzhou commissioner.However,the high-quality posts of the commissioner people reflect the profound cultural connotation of the commissioner people of the three dynasties.However,Yangzhou commissioner’s power gradually expanded during the three dynasties,reflecting Yangzhou’s own status.Therefore,the distribution of Yangzhou’s native place and the characteristics of its titles show the important regional influence of Yangzhou as the capital of Huainan at that timeIn the third part,it is concluded that the reasons for appointing officials in governors of Yangzhou can be divided into two categories:promotion after demotion and normal transfer to duty.Those demoted to Yangzhou include Zaifu and senior officials with two or more titles.These officials can be directly demoted to Yangzhou.If Ouyang Xiu and other senior officials have lower grades,they need to start a little compound to transfer to Yangzhou.For those who normally moved to Zhizhou,there are many transfer agents.They have reached the age of Near retirement after successive places,and came to Yangzhou for retirement.However,in most places,when governors came to Yang’s post,it was during the normal transfer that Yangzhou’s term was used to increase his political career.Therefore,Yangzhou was a place for chancellor and senior officials to be demoted first,for demoted officials to be promoted,for local officials to serve for the aged,and for officials to enter the political career. |
