Objective: This study investigated the physical activity and nutrition of middle-aged and elderly women in Xi ’an city,and explored the intervention effect and influence of health education based on We Chat platform on physical activity and nutrition.Methods: The main research methods of this study are: literature method,questionnaire method,experimental method and mathematical statistics method.The study recruited and screened 200 middle-aged and elderly female residents of Xi ’an city,aged 45-60,without serious disease and able to walk freely,and included them into the We Chat group for health education for 3 months.Finally,180 subjects completed the questionnaire survey twice before and after the intervention.Physical activity survey USES the international physical activity questionnaire(IPAQ)long Chinese version,nutrition survey using semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire(FFQ),health education about a balanced diet and sports science content,such as through a short video,graphic cards,electronic education handbook,voice,We Chat public article number for the subjects to intervene.Results :(1)After the intervention,the number and proportion of the group with low physical activity level decreased,the number and proportion of the group with medium physical activity level increased,and the amount of physical activity increased in the group with medium physical activity level and the group with high physical activity level.The number and proportion of sedentary time 5≤ h < 8 group decreased,and the number and proportion of sedentary time 2 < h < 5 group increased.Physical activity increased in all groups except h≥8 group.The amount of activity in the group with high physical activity level was significantly increased after intervention(P<0.05).The amount of physical activity in h≤2 group was significantly increased after intervention(P<0.05);(2)The intake of all kinds of food gradually approached the recommended amount of Dietary pagoda of Chinese residents,and the amount of fruits,aquatic products,livestock and poultry met the recommended standard after intervention;In terms of whether there were significant differences in intake before and after intervention,there were significant differences in daily intake of cereals,cereals and fruits before and after intervention(P<0.05),and the number of people who ate aquatic products,nuts,fried foods and sweet drinks and the corresponding food intake all changed significantly(P< 0.05).Although the intake of dairy food is insufficient and the intake of cereal food is excessive,there is still a lot of room for improvement;(3)The Internet and TV are the most common ways to acquire knowledge;Short video,voice broadcast and electronic graphic knowledge cards are popular knowledge receiving forms.Balanced diet guidance,exercise benefit introduction and health behavior education are popular interventions.One or two times a day is the preferred frequency of education;The main education time between 19:00 and 21:00 is the most acceptable time for the audience.Conclusion:(1)After 3 months of health education intervention,the proportion of 180 subjects who could reach the level of moderate or above physical activity increased from 91.11% to 97.22%.More than 95% of subjects could actively improve their physical activity level and reduce sedentary time after intervention,and the intervention had obvious effect;(2)After 3 months of health education intervention,the types of daily food intake of all subjects were significantly improved,and the intake of all kinds of food was close to the recommended amount of Chinese Dietary Guidelines after the intervention,among which the intake of livestock,poultry,fruit and aquatic products had reached the recommended standard;(3)Short videos,electronic graphic cards and voice broadcasts are the most popular forms of health education,and balanced dietary guidance and exercise benefits are the most popular content of health education knowledge;(4)In the health education intervention based on We Chat platform,90% of the subjects accepted this health education mode and were able to take the initiative to change.The model can implement real-time dynamic management for the subjects,broke the frequency of health education,way,and time constraints,can not only to strengthen education of subjects were effective,participants can also through We Chat,implementation and expert one-on-one interaction and communication between,in order to further improve target-oriented subjects in physical activity and dietary nutrition cognitive error,The changes in subjects’ cognition and behavior have been promoted,which is of great significance to the implementation of precise population intervention with the help of Internet new media technology as the intervention means.
