Clinical Study On NiLiuWanZhou Therapy In The Treatment Of Antibiotic-associated Diarrhea

Objective:It provides a new way for TCM and western medicine treatment,by observing the efficacy and safety of NiLiuWanZhou therapy in the treatment of antibiotic-related diarrhea,and comparing it with western medicine.Methods:This trial selected 62 hospitalized patients which met the inclusion criteria of AAD,with 31 people in each group.Both groups of patients received basic medical treatment,the control group was treated with metronidazole and Jinshuangqi,and the treatment group was treated with Canglin decoction.The observation period was 1week,and the observation time points were before treatment,3 days after treatment,and 7 days after treatment.The relevant data was statistically analyzed by SPSS 26.0tool.The clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups of patients were evaluated by comparative analysis of the symptoms and signs scores,standardized scores of intestinal flora,CRP,IL-6 and other indicators of the two groups.Results:(1)Baseline comparison: The treatment group and the control group had the same baseline and are comparable(P>0.05).(2)Clinical efficacy: Both groups could produce clinical efficacy.After 3 days of treatment,the treatment group’s control rate was 10%,and the improvement rate was 87.7%,the control group’s control rate was 3.3%,and the improvement rate was56.7%;after 7 days of treatment,the treatment group’s control rate was 76.7%,and the improvement rate was 93.3% In the control group,the control rate was 26.7%,and the improvement rate was 83.3%.The treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(3)Symptoms and signs scores: The two groups of diarrhea,stool characteristics,dehydration appearance,bowel sounds and abdominal pain and other indicators were better than which before the treatment(P<0.05),but the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(4)Standardized scores of intestinal flora:The two groups of bacteria,the ratio of bacillus/coccus,and the number of fungi were better than which before the treatment.It proved that the two treatments can effectively improve the intestinal flora,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.05).(5)Inflammatory index:Comparison within the group,compared with before treatment,the improvement of CRP and IL-6 were different between the two groups after 3 days of treatment and 7 days after treatment(P<0.05);comparison between groups,the inflammatory index improved after 3 days of treatment and 7 days after treatment.There was no significant statistical difference(P>0.05).(6)Safety comparison: No serious adverse reactions occurred in the treatment group and the control group during the experiment,and the safety was good.Conclusion:(1)NiLiuWanZhou therapy can reduce the frequency of diarrhea,improve stool characteristics,relieve symptoms of abdominal pain,improve dehydration appearance,bowel sounds,and its curative effect is better than western medicine treatment.(2)NiLiuWanZhou therapy can adjust the intestinal flora,and its curative effect is better than western medicine treatment.(3)NiLiuWanZhou therapy can reduce CRP and IL-6,and its curative effect is equivalent to western medicine treatment.(4)NiLiuWanZhou therapy is safe and reliable.
