| Objectives:Describe the family management mode of pre-school epilepsy children,understand the current situation and influencing factors of family management mode of pre-school epilepsy children,and provide targeted nursing support and disease management measures for children and families to improve the health outcomes.Methods:The Chinese version of the family management measure(Fa MM)was used as assessment tools.Using the Convenient Sampling Method,a cross-sectional survey was conducted on the general family status and family management style,120 main caregivers of epilepsy children aged 3-6 years old were selected from pediatric outpatient clinics and wards in two tertiary first-class hospitals of Jinan and Taian.SPSS22.0 was used for data statistics and analysis,the counting data were expressed by frequency and relative number,the differences between groups were compared by t-test;the measurement data were expressed by mean ± standard deviation,and the differences between groups were compared by F test;the multivariate relationship was analyzed by multivariate linear regression to explore the influencing factors of family management style of pre-school epilepsy children.Result1.The scores of 6 subscales of the Family Management Scale showed that the family management style of pre-school epilepsy children belonged to the tolerance type.2.The number of annual outbreaks of disease,the distribution of family residence,parents’ educational level,parents’ occupation,parents’ work changing because of disease,and family monthly income are the influencing factors of children’s daily life,disease management ability and parents’ mutual support.3.the number of hospitalizations per year,medical expenses,seizures per year,residence,father’s occupation,family monthly income,and changes in parents’ work or not are the factors influencing the subscale of family life difficulties,disease-related worries and disease management expenditure are.Conclusion1.Family management of pre-school epilepsy children belongs to the patience type and needs to be improved.2.Family management of children with pre-school epilepsy is affected by many factors,the most important of which is the number of annual seizures,hospitalization,annual medical expenses,family residence,parents’ educational level,parents’ occupation and family monthly income. |
