| With thriving of information technology,virtual reality technology has been applied to various fields of education,especially in today’s China,to speed up the building of modern vocational education system,the combination of virtual reality technology and vocational education is increasingly thorough.According to the national outline of the 14 th five-year plan and the action plan for improving the quality of Vocational Education(2020-2023),it is clearly required that vocational education should use cutting-edge technology to guide teaching innovation and solve teaching problems.Based on the characteristics and particularity of dental technology major,this study integrates virtual reality technology into the teaching of the professional core course complete denture technology,focuses on the feasibility and effectiveness of integrating virtual reality technology into professional teaching,constructs the teaching implementation framework of dental technology major combining virtual reality with reality,and puts forward relevant implementation suggestions.Focusing on the study objectives,the text takes the professional core competence of dental technology professionals as the starting point,and follow with interest the three aspects below to discuss the application effect:(1)What impact does virtual reality technology have on students’ spatial construction ability about the principle of anterior teeth arrangement?(2)What impact does virtual reality technology have on students’ practical ability of anterior artificial tooth arrangement?(3)What impact does virtual reality technology have on students’ ability to judge the wrong arrangement of anterior artificial teeth?Based on the above key aspects,a group of third grade students of one medical school in "S" city,who were learning in the secondary vocational and higher vocational5-year coherent education system,were selected as the experiment objects.The empirical research method is used to analyze the effects in many aspects,and the qualitative and quantitative methods carried out in this study.Through the result of knowledge test,practical test,training work evaluation,questionnaire survey and interview,the following conclusions are obtained through analysis: 1.The introduction of virtual reality technology into the course teaching of complete denture technology promotes students’ spatial construction ability for the principle of anterior teeth arrangement and increases students’ learning investment in the course.It plays a positive role in the whole teaching process,promotes the improvement of their thirst for knowledge,their attitude towards difficulties and their initiative in problem analysis,has a certain impact on improving students’ practical operation ability of artificial tooth arrangement,and can effectively help students get familiar with the operation process and specific steps,However,the improvement effect of operation practice ability is not obvious.2.There is no direct relationship between improving students’ autonomous judgment ability of artificial tooth arrangement errors.The results suggest that the mastery of students’ skills by teaching is closely related to improving the analysis and judgment ability of training works.3.Students have a high overall level of acceptance of virtual reality technology,which is useful,easy to learn and operable in the course teaching of complete denture technology.Therefore,based on the study conclusion,the teaching implementation framework of dental technology major course combining virtual reality with reality is revised and improved,and teaching suggestions are put forward.Virtual reality technology should be introduced into the teaching of complete denture technology course,but virtual reality technology cannot replace practical teaching,and virtual reality technology should be combined with teaching,for the dental technology major,which has high requirements on high practical ability,the current technology cannot replace the teaching of experience.Only by organically combining "innovation" and "inheritance" can it be of obvious help to improve the professional students’ practical ability and independent judgment ability of artificial tooth arrangement.It is hoped that it can play a role in attracting jade and attract other researchers’ attention and Exploration on the application of virtual reality technology to the teaching of dental technology. |
