With the development of teaching reform, technology of virtual reality has been used more and more often in education of China. In the computer-based virtual experimental teaching for Pharmacy, the learners require actual situations, scientific research, comments and feedbacks in varied ways of learning, which is definitely a challenge for traditional ways of teaching. Technology of virtual reality, as a teaching aid for teachers, an emotional encouragement and cognition tool for students, builds the digital learning resources and realizes the reform of modes of teaching, which actually changes from passive acceptance into autonomous, meaningful and cooperative learning mode.In order to meet the aims of training high-quality and high-skilled talents, improving the students' ability of analyzing and solving problems, we break the traditional modes of teaching by combining the technology of virtual reality and experiment of Pharmacy. In accordance with problems it often occurs in the traditional experimental teaching for Pharmacy, we build a virtually situational experimental teaching mode for Pharmacy with students as the major subjects conducting researches autonomously and teachers as the guides. As a result, students' interest is effectively stimulated, which helps to model their sense, spirit and ability of innovation and improve their problem-solving skills.Applying technology of virtual reality to Pharmacy teaching, we adopt visualization technology such as 3D digital technology, interactive multi-sensor technology. The visual system can create vivid situation and make it possible to interactive with the users in real-time. Virtual subjects and virtual experiment offer a cooperative and individualized self-adaptive experimental environment for students. In order to better understand the features of virtual experiment and its application in teaching and learn how to optimize its use in the teaching for higher vocational education, the thesis starts from analyzing the features of virtual experiment, and then probes into its application in the Pharmacy teaching, based on which the thesis further discusses several teaching modes of virtual reality.The thesis analyzes the features of virtual reality, studies the theoretical basis of the Pharmacy experimental teaching modes based on virtual environment from cognitivism, behaviorism, and constructivism. The application of virtual reality technology in Pharmacy experimental teaching is briefly explained by introducing the definition and the development phases of virtual experiment. Based on the virtual environment, the thesis builds the Pharmacy experimental teaching mode. Moreover, with examples of Pharmacy experiment, cases of virtual experiment teaching are analyzed and researches of teaching effectiveness are carried out to demonstration its teaching effects for Pharmacy. By analyzing the survey on teaching effectiveness, the thesis concludes that it is necessary to adopt this teaching mode in experimental teaching for Pharmacy as it greatly trains and improves the students' ability to conduct the experiment autonomously and innovatively.
