| 【Objective】The quantitative study was conducted to understand the home rehabilitation training compliance of patients after Total Knee Arthroplasty(TKA)in Hainan Province through a questionnaire survey;qualitative research explores the relevant factors that affect the compliance of TKA patients with home rehabilitation training from another perspective through interviews, aiming to provide reference for clinical workers to develop home rehabilitation training programs for TKA patients.【Method】1.Questionnaire method: a self-administered patient general information questionnaire and home rehabilitation training compliance scale for Total knee arthroplasty patients were used to survey 170 patients 1 month after TKA in 3 tertiary hospitals in Hainan Province, and data were processed with SPSS 22.0.2.Semi-structured interview method: conduct interviews with TKA patients to understand their real thoughts and opinions on home rehabilitation training, use the Colaizzi phenomenological seven-step analysis method to sort out the interview data, and conduct in-depth analysis to clarify the relevance of the patient’s home rehabilitation training factor.【Result】1.Among the 3 dimensions, the total compliance score for physical exercise was(13.14±3.83),the compliance rate was 65.70%,and the average score for the 5 items was(2.63±0.77).The total exercise supervision compliance score was(7.91±2.60),the compliance rate was 65.92%,and the average score of the three items was(2.64±0.86).The total compliance score for active advice seeking was(6.52±2.71),with an average score of(2.17±0.90)for the three items and a compliance rate of54.33%.2.Multiple linear regression analysis showed that education background, age, marital status and monthly family income had significant effects on the compliance of patients with home rehabilitation training(P < 0.001).3.The qualitative research extracted a total of 7 themes, namely, patients’ lack of rehabilitation knowledge, hot weather, poor pain control, lack of corresponding support, new media health education, peer support, and patients’(family)expectations for the outcome of surgery.【Conclusion】1.The home rehabilitation training compliance of TKA patients in Hainan Province was at a moderate level, with the following compliance in three dimensions:the highest compliance with exercise supervision, the second highest compliance with physical exercise, and the lowest compliance with active advice seeking.2.Education,age,marital status, and monthly household income were the main influencing factors for home rehabilitation training of TKA patients.3.In home rehabilitation training, the compliance of TKA patients is not only negatively affected by lack of knowledge, poor pain control and other unsatisfied needs, but also promoted by positive factors such as new media health education and peer support. In addition, patients and their families have higher expectations of surgical results, and the impact on patients’ compliance with rehabilitation training varies from person to person. |
