| Objective: To illustrate a hospital in Liaoning province glaucoma patients’ quality of life, from the demographic characteristics, basic characteristics of disease, sleep disturbance, sense of coherence, etc.,analyzes the present situation of glaucoma patients quality of life and related factors, and clarify its priority, for the prevention and intervention of the people’s health, help the adjustment state of mind, better to improve the quality of life in patients with glaucoma related intervention strategy to provide scientific theoretical basis for improve the quality of life. Methods: A cross-sectional survey was used in this study. All glaucoma patients who met the inclusion criteria in an ophthalmic outpatient hospital in Liaoning Province during a certain period of time were randomly selected to conduct a questionnaire survey. The PROMIS Sleep Disturbance Short form-8(PROMIS8b),Sense of Coherence(SOC-13)and Glaucoma Quality of Life(GQL-15)were used to evaluate Sleep Disturbance, psychological Coherence and Quality of Life in patients with Glaucoma, respectively.A total of 215 valid questionnaires were obtained. In this study, the questionnaire star was used to conduct a questionnaire survey, and the survey data were collected and analyzed.SPSS17.0 and Amos 6.0 were used for statistical analysis.Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the general characteristics of patients with glaucoma.Univariate analysis was performed by t-test and analysis of variance, and Spearman correlation was used to analyze the correlation between quality of life, sleep disturbance and psychological congruence in patients with glaucoma.Multiple linear regression was used to preliminarily analyze the mediating effect of sense of coherence between sleep disturbance and quality of life in glaucoma patients, and then use structural equation model to verify the mediating effect.α=0.05 was used as the test level. Results: A total of 215 glaucoma jobseekers were investigated in this study. The average quality of life score of the respondents was 43.85±14.97.There were statistically significant differences in the quality of life of patients with different ages, income, educational level and chronic disease(P < 0.05).The quality of life score of glaucoma patients was positively correlated with sleep disturbance, and negatively correlated with psychological congruence(P < 0.01).In the stratified regression model, control variables, sleep disturbance, and psychological concordant explained 0.98%,14.8%,and 10.9%variations in quality of life in patients with glaucoma, respectively(P < 0.05).Conclusion: There was a positive correlation between sleep disturbance and quality of life scores, and a negative correlation between sense of coherence and quality of life scores.Sense of coherence plays an incomplete mediating role between sleep disturbance and quality of life.In clinical work, patients with low sense of coherence should be increased to improve patients’ sleep quality, and improve the quality of life. |
