ObjectiveThis study aims to investigate the sleep disorder, quality of life and anxiety of perimenopausal women, and to explore the relationship between sleep disorder, quality of life and anxiety,so as to provide scientific methods for perimenopausal women to alleviate anxiety and improve sleep quality and quality of life.MethodsFrom April 2017 to April 2018,526 perimenopause women from five street communities in Shenyang,Liaoning Province, and Jinzhou City were selected as subjects by means of convenient sampling. The study subjects must conform to the definition of perimenopause defined by the WHO perimenopause study group, and the subjects had symptoms of decreased sleep quality. The general demographic status, anxiety status, sleep quality and quality of life of the subjects were investigated with general information questionnaire,Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale(PSQI),Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and The World Health Organization Quality of Life Brief(WHOQOL-BREF).The data were statistically analyzed and processed by SPSS23.0 and AMOS17.0 statistical software, and the general data of perimenopause women were analyzed by descriptive analysis. The general data of perimenopause women and the differences among the study variables were tested by t-test and ANOVA test.Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the relationship among sleep disturbance, quality of life and anxiety in perimenopausal women. The Bootstrap and regression analysis were used to investigate the mediating effects of anxiety on sleep disorders and quality ofResults1.The score of sleep quality was 14.31±2.75,the score of quality of life was 54.02±4.5,the score of anxiety was 49.94±9.58,and the incidence of anxiety was 32.3%.2.Different general demographic data: differences in age, personality, family relationships, chronic disease,or long-term health problems were statistically significant for sleep disturbances, quality of life, and anxiety in perimenopausal women(P<0.05).3.There was a positive correlation between anxiety and sleep quality(r=8.32,P<0.01),and a negative correlation between anxiety, sleep quality and life quality(r=-5.37,-5.62,P<0.01).4.Sleep disorders have a negative predictive effect on the quality of life of perimenopause women(?=-0.562,P<0.001);Sleep disorders had a positive predictive effect on anxiety in perimenopause women(?=0.832,P<0.001);Sleep disorders and anxiety had predictive effects on quality of life(?=-0.374,P<0.001);(?=-0.225,P<0.05).5.Anxiety has a mediating effect between sleep quality and life quality, with a mediating effect value of-0.201,accounting for 32.4%.Conclusions1.Perimenopausal women had poorer quality of sleep, lower quality of life and higher level of anxiety.2.The perimenopausal women aged 51 ~ 55 years old, introverted and shy, with poor family relationship and disease have high degree of sleep disorder, high incidence of anxiety, and poor overall quality of life.3.There was a significant correlation between sleep disorders, quality of life and anxiety.Anxiety has a positive predictive effect on sleep disorders, while anxiety and sleep disorders have a negative predictive effect on quality of life.4.Anxiety has a partial mediating effect between sleep disorders and quality of life.Regulating anxiety can alleviate sleep disorders and reduce the impact on quality of life.
