The Clinical Observation Of Wenshen Touxie Foot Bath Prescription In Treating Maintenance Hemodialysis Secondary Restless Legs Syndrome

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Wenshen Touxie foot bath in the treatment of maintenance hemodialysis secondary restless legs syndrome.Methods: In this study,according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,48 patients with spleen and kidney yang deficiency and damp turbidity maintenance hemodialysis secondary to restless legs syndrome were collected as the research objects.And they were divided into 24 cases in the treatment group and 24 cases in the control group by random number table.All patients underwent routine hemodialysis treatment and controlled complications.On the basis of conventional treatment,the control group was treated with acupuncture,and the treatment group was treated with Wenshen Touxie foot bath prescription.The observation period was 4 weeks for both groups.The scores of TCM syndromes,restless legs syndrome symptom score,Pittsburgh sleep quality index score,and parathyroid hormone levels were record and compared between the two groups before and after treatment.SPSS 25.0statistical software was employed for statistical analysis.Results:1.Comparison of efficacy:After treatment,the TCM syndromes,restless legs syndrome symptoms,and sleep state were significantly improved in the two groups,which were statistically significant compared with those before treatment(P<0.01),and the improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Comparison of laboratory indicators:After treatment,there was no significant change in PTH levels between the two groups,and there was no statistically significant difference within and between the groups(P>0.05).The treatment group has the same effect as the control group.Conclusion:1.Both the Wenshen Touxie foot bath prescription and the acupuncture therapy can improve the clinical symptoms of restless legs syndrome to a certain extent,the foot bath is better than acupuncture therapy.2.Wenshen Touxie foot bath prescription can obviously improve TCM syndrome,sleep state in patients with maintenance hemodialysis secondary restless legs syndrome.
